Make your way to the Emerald Coast for a Fort Walton Beach vacation this spring 10K/5K/1 Mile fun run. All proceeds benefit the Emerald Coast Science Center, a wonderful local organization dedicated to keeping kids interested in science and math.
Winter Guest Fest 2013
Calling all Emerald Coast snowbirds! You don’t want to miss the 2013 Winter Guest Fest happening tomorrow, February 13, 2013.
The Winter Guest Fest has become a tradition here for our extended winter guests and, if you are new to being a ‘snowbird’, it’s a tradition you want to get in on, trust us. This event is a great way to learn more about our beautiful beaches as well as the attractions, restaurants and services available to you while on vacation on Okaloosa Island. If you happen to prefer staying in Destin vacation rentals, don’t worry. There will be plenty of area information and local discounts for you to pickup, as well.

A New Award for the Emerald Coast!
The beautiful beaches of Northwest Florida have collected many distinctions and awards over the year’s, but we must say, this is a new one, even for us. The Okaloosa Island water tower, seen here, has been named Tank of the Year!
If you have ever enjoyed a vacation in a Fort Walton Beach condo then you are no stranger to the water tower that is centered on the island. It has had many looks and designs over the year but we can’t help but agree, this one is truly beautiful. Depicting the emerald green waters that the Emerald Coast is known for, it is definitely something to behold when you drive over the Brooks Bridge or in from visiting the Destin attractions. The design required 14 different colors and was handpainted by a team earlier this year.
