Seville Quarter Wine Festival
Wine lovers visiting with us in a Pensacola Beach vacation rental on November 13, 2011, rejoice! Seville Quarter, located just moment away from the beach in downtown Pensacola, is hosting their 2011 wine festival!
Seville Quarter is the historic dining and entertainment section located within old Pensacola and is delightful, charming area to visit any time you stay with us. On Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 2PM-5PM, however, you can also sample over 200 handpicked wines from around the world. You can also enjoy the Champagne and Oyster Bar, as well as cooking demos by several area restaurant chefs.
For those who are more beer lovers than wine, don’t worry, they’ve got you covered. Enjoy trying several microbrews that will be available, as well as cigar sampling from Grand Reserve. Live entertainment and delicious food round out this day of festival fun. Tickets are $35 when purchased in advance or $40 the day of the festival.
Greater Gulf Coast Arts Festival
For those who love arts, crafts, music, dance and all that goes along with these cherished arts, you
do not want to miss the Greater Gulf Coast Arts Festival. This festival is regarded as one of the best orchestrated and most beloved festivals in the United States and it takes place just minutes from the beaches in downtown Pensacola’s historic Seville Square.
The festival will take place from November 4-6, 2011. This juried art show draws more than 200 acclaimed artists in a wide range of mediums including paint, pottery, sculpture, graphics, carpentry and more. In addition to drawing local and national artist, international artists will also be showcased. Heritage arts, such as blacksmithing, weaving and engraving, will also be on display. Music and dance will also be on full display with many live musicians performing as well as local dance troups. While this show is serious about its art, kids will also have a wonderful time with many activities and artist catering to their need for indulgence and entertainment at the Children’s Art Festival.

Baytowne Beer Festival
The Village of Baytowne Wharf will welcome over 100 domestic and international brewers on October 21 & 22 for their annual Beer Fest! Whether you’re an expert, novice or simply want to spend a fun-filled day outdoors with a frosty beverage during your South Walton vacation, don’t miss out on this event!
The Beer Fest is a favorite fall event for both locals and visitors. Blast on the Bay 2011!

Over 20 talented Nashville musicians will head to the Gulf Coast to perform from October 14-16, 2011 during this festival. These songwriters have written for everyone from Faith Hill to Diamond Rio and will be on hand at several of our favorite local establishments, such as The Thirsty Goat and Toucan’s, to perform their hits. The music kicks off at 6PM on Friday evening and picks back up at 2PM on Saturday and Sunday.
All shows are FREE to attend, however, a donation of any kind is always appreciated. Proceeds will benefit the Education Foundation of Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association as well as the Gulf Alliance for Local Arts. Deluna Fest in Pensacola Beach
America’s Original Beach Party is back for it’s second year and Deluna Fest is going to be huge! If you’re a music lover, who happens to also enjoy fantastic days on the beach, this is your event.
This year’s festival is 80 bands in just 3 days, October 14-16, 2011. This is the destination festival. While you rock out to the regional and national bands, you’ll have your toes in the powder white sand and, when things get hot, you can cool off with a dip in the Gulf of Mexico. And, with six stages, no matter where along the beach you are, you can still party and enjoy the tunes. There will also be abundant food and beverages available and the party doesn’t stop when the sun sets. Late night DJ sets by the event pools will keep things going through the night. This year’s lineup includes plenty of regional and local acts. Drawing the big crowds will be national bands such as Linkin Park, Weezer, Jane’s Addicition, Cake, Cut Copy and many more. Pensacola Art & Wine Weekend
All aboard the wine tasting trolley! On October 1 & 2, 2011, don’t miss the Pensacola Beach Art and Wine Festival happening at the Visitor Information Center and various locations along the island. Wristbands for the event are only $5 per day and is from 11AM to 5PM both Saturday and Sunday.
The Chamber of Commerce’s Artist Village will be set up in the parking area of the Visitor Information Center and will feature both artists and local craftsmen. Various artists will also be featured at favorite area businesses, as well as wine tastings which you can visit by strolling along our beautiful beaches or jumping on the trolley. If you plan to ride the trolley, please make sure everyone in your party is at least 21 as alcoholic beverages are available onboard. In addition to the 4th Annual Art and Wine Festival the Pensacola Beach Songwriter’s Festival will also be taking place during the weekend and the live music will act as the perfect compliment to your wine tasting adventure! Destin Seafood Festival-The Music
The Destin Seafood Festival is first and foremost about, of course, the seafood. However, music fans will also discover that it’s a great time to visit the area and to hear favorite artists and up and coming new acts within the music scene. This year’s festival is all about bringing things back to where they began, the Destin Harbor, and celebrating our roots which, in the South, means great rock and country bands!
This year’s event is promising more music than ever with an amazing 15 stages rocking out each of the three festival days along the harbor. In addition to the two mainstages, located at Harborwalk Village and Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant, you can also catch any of the 15 songwriters who will be performing from Nashville at AJ’s Seafood & Oyster Bar, The Shed BBQ & Blues Joint, Harry T’s Lighthouse and many more area favorites. Taking the main stage will be Andy Velo, pictured right, an emerging artist sure to be country music’s newest star. You also don’t want to miss the Southern Gentlemen Tour, a duo made up of Collective Soul’s Ed Roland and Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra performing a unique and intimate acoustic set.

Oktoberfest in Perdido Key
Fall is all about outdoor festivals and events and the 2nd Annual Perdido Key Oktoberfest is one you don’t want to miss. It might be fall but the weather is still warm enough to enjoy a beautiful day outside, sipping a frosty beverage and a tasty bratwurst!
The festival will be held at the Perdido Key Oyster Bar, which overlooks the water and picturesque marina, this year on October 1, 2011. Tickets are only $15 per person and include unlimited beer sampling and Oktoberfest mug. For $25, you get all that as well as a festival t-shirt to remember the experience. If you’d like to attend, but won’t be partaking of the beer sampling, don’t worry. This year the festival features a beer garden where you can relax and enjoy the live entertainment including a traditional Oompah band and sample the tasty Oktoberfest food that will be available.
