The Rabbit Run & Egg Hunts on the Forgotten Coast!
The Forgotten Coast never forgets to celebrate a good holiday! Hop on down to enjoy an Easter vacation on the beaches of Northwest Florida packed with great Easter events including a 5K run and egg hunts!
The annual Rabbit Run will take place on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 8AM along the Loggerhead run in nearby Cape San Blas. This bike and walking trail runs along the length of this beautiful town and the St. Joseph Peninsula. Whether you run, walk or hop, it’s sure to be a great time.
After your morning run, make your way back to Port St. Joe for the annual egg hunt at the 8th Street Park. The local Junior Service League is known for this event and it’s sure to be a great time for kids of all ages! In addition to a great hunt, games and prizes, the Easter bunny himself will be in attendance.
Hop On Down To HarborWalk!
If you will be enjoying your Easter celebration with a vacation in Destin, Florida then hop on down to HarborWalk Village for their annual brunch and visit from the Easter Bunny himself!
Just because you are on a Gulf Coast vacation doesn’t mean you have to leave your traditions at home. Dye eggs in the fully equipped kitchens of our beach home and kitchens, see what it’s like to host a hunt in our sugar white sand beaches and then head to Harborwalk for a delcious brunch, lunch and visit with the Bunny!
The brunch will take place at the Grand Bar Vista and Grill from 10AM and 2PM and will also feature a few lunch items. The meal is a la carte, as well. Afterwards, head down to the village and have pictures made from 2PM-4PM with the big white bunny to complete your ideal Easter Sunday on the beaches of Northwest Florida!
