Beaches of South Walton Weather

Weather for South Walton Beaches

The weather on Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast is typically balmy in the summer with temperatures ranging from high seventies to nineties. The summer is still our more popular time for vacationers visiting the Beaches of South Walton, while our shoulder seasons of spring and fall offer a milder climate and more outdoor festivals and events. The Beaches of South Walton’s winters are gentle and offer a reprieve to our visiting guests from the north. All seasons present a variety of things to do and see. Our white sandy beach with the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico is beautiful year round, and regardless of the temperature, using sunscreen is essential. While stunning to look upon, the Gulf also provides the perfect opportunities for play. Swimming, snorkeling, sailing and more water activities can be enjoyed virtually all year in our warm waters. Known for its usual calm currents, it can, however, occasionally become arduous. Please always be aware of the conditions before swimming. Seemore the Crab has become the Beaches of South Walton’s mascot to educate visitors about our flag warning system and current water conditions at any given time. Southern Resorts wants you to safely make the most of your Beaches of South Walton vacation.
