Most of the leisure activities in the Beaches of South Walton focus on the natural environment. Our Outdoor Fun section of this guide highlights the ways to play and actively take part in the surroundings. For attractions more elaborate than one of our simple parks or playgrounds, the best bet would be to travel over to Panama City Beach on the East or Destin on the west. Both boast great water parks, miniature golf and more tourist attractions. With the Beaches of South Walton right in the middle of the two, neither is very far.

The Track – Also in Destin, the Track is your family headquarters for fun. This action-packed recreation center features the ultimate in go-kart tracks, miniature golf, bumper boats. For the more adventurous visitor, take your chance on bungee jumping here.

Shipwreck Island – Just to the east is Panama City Beach’s Shipwreck Island. This water park is a great value for thrill seekers, families and kids!
