Henderson Beach State Park – In the heart of Destin, between the downtown and Crystal Beach communities, rests our Henderson State Park, encompassing more than 6,000 feet of natural scenic shoreline and the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico on its edge. Guests enjoy several pavilions for picnicking and grilling. The nature trail, including a playground for the kids bestows visitors a rare peek at the coastal dune ecosystem and abundant wildlife.
Topsail Hill Preserve State Park – Just on the eastern edge of Destin, in the Beaches of South Walton, this wonderful park includes 3.2 miles of secluded, pristine beaches with majestic dunes over 25 feet tall. Enjoy fishing or paddle boarding in the three rare coastal dune lakes. With footpaths threading through, it is a hiking and bird-watching paradise.
