BPB.RightSideHave you ever made plans with a large group of friends for an event or party?  Sure you have.  You probably also discovered how hard it is to keep everyone together when you’re dealing with multiple vehicles and designated drivers.  Enter the Beach Party Bus.

The Beach Party Bus is ready to shuttle your group to the most fun parties and events along the Emerald Coast.  From kids to party animals, your safety is their priority as they transport you to and from events such as birthdays, weddings, proms, homecomings, sporting events, family reunions and more.

BPB.InsideMore than just an average bus, this vehicle has gone through a massive makeover now including blue vinyl bench seats with open seating, seat belts, fresh carpet, limo lighting, two air conditioning units, a top of the line stereo system, and disco ball topped off with two dance poles.

It’s Official, Southwest Airlines to the Emerald Coast

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

It’s official, Southwest Airlines will be coming to Northwest Florida along the Emerald Coast.  The new International Airport near Panama City will be the newest destination for Southwest customers beginning in May 2010.  Much of the credit should go to the St. Joe Company for their ongoing efforts to help bring Southwest to our area.  The details of specific flights have not been given, however more details will be released in December 2009.

Southwest provides great low fares and will open up our area to countless new/returning visitors for years to come.  Port St. Joe (St. Joe Beach), Panama City Beach, Beaches of South Walton, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, and Pensacola Beach are just a few of the many areas that will be affected by this exciting development in the area.  Southern Resorts Vacation Rentals welcomes the addition of Southwest to our wonderful area and we look forward to more people being able to enjoy the powder white beaches and emerald water along Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Sowal Barber Shop

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Need a hair cut?  It’s always difficult finding a good place to get your hair trimmed, whether or not you’re on vacation to Destin or the Beaches of South Walton.  How many times have you gotten home only to notice your sideburns are uneven, your neckline is crooked and periodic small chunks of hair were missed.

Sowal Barbershop (850.267.0317) is owned and operated by Pam Dodson, a Master Barber with over 30 years of experience.  Mrs. Dodson is more commonly known as Big Mama and is sure to remind everyone, “…it’s not because the size, it’s the attitude.”

Located just 2.5 miles east of Sacred Heart Hospital in Santa Rosa Village on the corner of Don Bishop Road and Hwy 98, their address is 5008 Hwy 98 East.  Perfectly located near Destin and Beaches of South Walton, this is a great place to get your hair traditionally trimmed with experience and style.   Sowal focuses more on men & boys haircuts priced at $16 but they still welcome women and girls charging $21 a trim.

As the cold weather arrives and our snowbird friends descend on the area, Big Mama is offering a $1 off special for snowbirds. (mention this blog when you go there)
