Shop for a cause at Silver Sands 5th Annual Evening of Giving on Sunday November 22, 2010 from 3pm-8pm.  The Evening of Giving is a shopping and entertainment event benefitting a large amount of charities in the area. 

At 4pm come to the main courtyard for a live performance by the Swingin’ Dick Tracys.  Immediately following the band at 5pm, the Holiday Lights in Concert will begin.  Imagine a choreographed program of over 70,000 colorful lights set to holiday songs and carols.

Lace up your shoes and join in with McGuire’s 5k Prediction Run.  Beginning in Dowtown Pensacola, this is one of the largest runs in the city and the nation’s largest prediction run.  Awards will go to the fastest runner of the 3.1 mile course as well as the most accurate in predicting the time it will take to complete the course.

The 2010 Pensacola Double Bridge 15k Run is accompanied by a 5k run/walk.  On February 6, 2010 at 8am the 15K will begin downtown and the 5k will begin from Gulf Breeze High School.

The Pensacola Beach 5k/10k/Half Marathon will begin at 8am on January 16, 2010.  The Days Inn of Pensacola Beach will have a packet pickup on Friday January 15th from 4pm-8pm and on Saturday January 16th from 6:30am-7am. 

The post race celebration will be on the Portofino Boardwalk at Capt’n Fun Beach Club beginning at 9:30am.  You must be wearing your race number to be served.

Prepare for a pirate uprising at the 55th Billy Bowlegs Festival in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  From June 3 – 7, 2010 many fun happenings will take place during the annual celebration including local/regional bands, torchlight parade, arts/crafts, food, pirates, children’s activities and more. 

On Thursday June 3rd, there’ll be a Pirate Walk (think of trick-or-treating on Halloween but with pirates) for kids among the merchants of Downtown Fort Walton Beach from  4-7pm.  The same night, beginning at 6pm, the 2nd Annual Billy Bowlegs Pub Crawl will begin at participating restaurants and bars. 

The Billy Bowlegs Festival will take place  at Fort Walton Landing (139 Brooks Street, Downtown Fort Walton Beach) from 3pm-10pm on Friday June 4, 2010. 

Saturday June 5, 2010 festival hours are 10am-10pm andMonday finishes off the festival with the Billy Bowlegs Torchlight Parade at 8pm (at south end of Eglin Pkwy northward to Uptown Station).
