Crystal Beach Vacation Home ~ Waverly

We rented this house for my bachelorette party/weekend getaway. We had 12 girls staying with us and were pleasantly surprised to find out that the rooms are so much bigger than the pictures we viewed online. There is plenty of space in this house! We were all a little nervous about spending 3 days with 12 girls in one house but there were plenty of beds, couches, seats, etc. We had a blast swimming in the pool at night and walking the short walk to the beach each day. The public beach access is less than a block away! The main complaints are simple ones to fix. We could not find any oven mitts and the refrigerator shelves need a little work. The ice tray rack (in the freezer) was barely hanging on which made it difficult to store items in the freezer. The shelves on the refrigerator door were also a little wobbly. The next complaint is for the housekeeping. We checked in on Thursday and were scheduled to leave on Sunday. Saturday morning, as we were getting ready to go to the beach, someone from housekeeping arrived and told us that we should have already checked out by now. We told him that we had the house until Sunday and he replied that we were wrong and we needed to leave asap. Naturally, this caused a little anxiety for all of us until we were able to confirm with Southern Rentals that our true check out date was Sunday and not Saturday. This is an honest miscommunication with the housekeeping staff, which we understand can happen, but he did not have to be so rude. The outdoor shower did not work, but once again, that's an easy fix. It certainly did not put a damper on our weekend. Other than that, we had an incredible time at the Waverly house and recommend it to any one who has a large number of guests. We will definitely rent this house again :)

Great house and location. Perfect for family gathering. Enjoyed the pool and beach a lot. The kitchen lacked some pieces that I would consider standard. Needs a can opener - manual or electric; there was not one. Needs one or two pyrex baking dishes. Frying pans need replacing. We would definitely recommend this property and the Destin area to anyone we know.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The decor was fitting for the beach. Many of us liked the purple accents. The service was excellent. We had to call about the pool a couple of times. The location was excellent and very close to the each. I loved the big pool and the nice kitchen. The grill was clean and worked well. The thing we liked least was the noisy pool pump.

The Beach house was very comfotable! All the beds were super comfy (except the pull outcouches.) Therte was plenty of space for the 12 of us to have a great time. The pool was very nice and clean, However there was alot of dust and dirt in the beach house. The views from the house were incredible!! The house was well stocked with dishes. overall it was a great experience and we will definetly stay at waverly again!!

Our family loved this beach house! It had lots of space. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms spacious. We loved the relatively large pool compared to others around us and the pool accessories. The wrap around porches on both levels provided quiet moments as well as gatherings. The house is a short walk to the beach and the road that you cross has relatively low traffic compared to many other places we have been. (There was no problem crossing the road at any time.)We had lots of parking for our vehicles. The location is close to all shopping, golfing, dining, and entertainment locations. The only downside was that the refridgerator needed to be a bit larger. Other than that, we were very pleased!!

we all loved the house, it was right across from the beach, only had to walk half a block to the left to the public beach access and we were on the beach. Complaints? - I the Wi-Fi never worked... we called friday evening to get the pool heated and it wasnt really "hot" until sunday morning - so if u wanted heated during ur stay, call ahead! and another thing, it doesnt have a gulf view, our view was blocked by some condos, so that sucked but other than that it was great, big house, lots of beds, a big pool compared to a couple of or our neighbors pool. bring toilet paper if u plan to stay for more than 2 days lol... the house is very nice and somewhat updated... loved the surrounding wooden deck on the 1st and 2nd floor.

We had extended family join us, ages 8 months to 79 years old. We all enjoyed the easy walk to the beach, the great playground a block away, and plenty of restaurants nearby. We also went bowling and miniature golfing. The house was clean and comfortable. It was a bit cool in early March, so Southern Resorts brought a few extra blankets by at our request. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils. Thanks for a great vacation.
