Very Nice,clean and comfortable. Great pools.We felt very safe there. Great parking.

We enjoyed this unit. We are a family of 6 and had plenty of room. I would only suggest one thing...bring some grill tools with you.

Very nice condo with great pools and wonderful staff. Loved the early checkin - totally worth the fee. The pool closes kinda early - they kick everyone out at 10 pm sharp... But overall Very happy with everything except the beach. We have been to Destin 5 times (but never ft walton beach) Waterscape Beach had horrible june grass and sea squids (5 out of the 7 days) so bad you couldnt get in the water. I talked to the beach staff and they said this is a common problem due to the sand bar location...Next time I'll go back across the bridge to destin because of the beach. But if you don't like to swim in the ocean this is the place for you.

We all had a great time. Everyone was happy with the accomadations. The facilities including the pools were exceptional. Signage could be improved to get around, including the lobby.

Wonderful play to stay with kids. All the kids and grandkids had a great time.

This is a great place for families there were pool access everywhere and the beach was right there we could walk to the fishing pier. It was a very good experience.

We absolutely loved the resort. It is a great place for families. There are lots of things to keep the kids entertained. My only 2 minor complaints about the pool area is that it doesn't get much sun throughout the day because the buildings block the light; however, the beach is just steps away for those who like to work on their tan. The other issue is the resort requires you to wear arm bands to show that you are a guest of the resort. Who wants that armband tan line? I understand they're trying to keep others from utilizing the pool area but there's got to be a better way to keep track of guests. As for the actual condo unit. It was very spacious and had all the amenities of home. There's a large bathroom with huge showers and tubs in both bedrooms. There is also a separate toilet room right off the dining area so that guests staying in the bunk room or sleeper sofa do not have to disturb people sleeping in the bedrooms. My only complaint about the condo unit is the bedspreads were not clean. We had to call southern resorts to request another blanket because there was some nasty stains on one of the bedspreads. They brought us a replacement blanket in a pretty reasonable time. Later that day we noticed stains on the other comforter, but we didn't call to complain we just put that comforter to the side and used a spare blanket from the closet. Overall, I definitely would stay at the resort again. However, I wouldn't recommend staying here during peak season because it can get pretty crowded at the pool. Hopefully, the next time we go back when can get one of the end units with the panoramic views of the beach.

We loved our stay at Waterscape....we travel with a few families and the childrens age range is from 9 years old to 19 years old. All of the children enjoyed our stay--so much to do, people to meet (it was crowded!) and a beautiful, convenient facility......we look forward to going next year!

Plenty for the kids to do-good staff-nice comfy condo's

We were very happy our entire stay of four weeks. Everything in the unit was first class, including the furnishings and the view. Shopping and restaurants are all close by. The entire property is the best in the area. We will be back!

The condo that we stayed in was very nice. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and the kids loved the bunk bed. The view was awesome (you can see the pier from the balcony). The pools and lazy river were fun, too. Our only complaint was that the sofa bed was not comfortable enough for someone to have to sleep on the whole week! We would definitely return to this property..

This beautifully appointed condo was our Waterscape home for 10 days in August 2008. We were there during the Tropical Storm with two small children (ages 2 and 4) and had a wonderful time. The pluses: nicely decorated, kitchen fully stocked. Nice king bed (great for full-family mornings), very large master shower (good for showering the kids en masse after a morning at the beach). The location of the condo is great -- near both sets of stairs, near the parking garage, and with a wonderful view of the ocean and adjacent protected dunes. FAR SUPERIOR (in my view) to the inner views that Waterscape pushes. A few minuses: the front door does not lock from the inside. So if you have a sleepwalking child who can open doors, it's alarming. (We used a chair in front of the doors.) My kids were a little young for the bunk beds, which made things a little tricky for us -- my daredevil 2-year old was obsessed with climbing them and there was no way to prevent this. In terms of Waterscape... we went for the pool amenities and these did not disappoint. Beach rentals are crazy expensive... bring your own gear. Although packages are suppose to 'include' beach service, don't believe it, it's not the way it works -- no matter what the sellers tell you over the phone. One major, MAJOR disappointment for us was that although the condo itself is nonsmoking, the PROPERTY is not. My daughter was actually burned by ash that blew over from a guest smoking while standing in the kids' wading pool area. When I complained to the staff, they were annoyed and only grudgingly helpful. Also, I rented this by contacting the owner of the property, who was very kind and worked out a rental with me. I did this because I found the Waterscape rental/sales staff to be pushy, misleading, and dishonest about property availability. Southern Rentals was nice to work with and I would seek out a rental through their agency again. In short, I'm not sure if I would stay in Waterscape again, but if I did, I would definitely seek out this condo.

We loved staying at Waterscape. The pools and lazy river are great. Our condo was beautiful. We loved the view from our balcony. It is our favorite new property.

My family spent a week at the Waterscape Southern Resort Rental. This was an absolutely perfect family vacation. The entire resort was focused around children and families. They had a fun activity for children of all ages everyday, and a grand finally drive in movie in the pool!!! What an incredible vacation. We would definitely stay there again!!!

We just spent a wonderful week at Waterscape in Ft Walton Beach.This was a wonderful condo with a great view of the ocean from our unit, all the pools for the kids made it a relaxing stay.The grills around the pool at night would strave you with everyone cooking but there was plenty of grills for everyone.The pictures of the condo on the web site do not do the unit justice it was very clean and spacious. I would recommended this place to anyone. The people at Southern Resorts who I rented thru were also very friendly and helpful,the key to our room quit working one night I had left the other key in the room so here I was locked out, called the # to Southern Resorts and someone was there with a new key within 10 minutes.Wonderful Place.

My wife and I,son, daughter in law, and grandchildren enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location was very convenient yet uncrowded. Only complaint was the poor shower heads located in an otherwise impressive shower. We will definitely consider returning in the future. The area was as fun for seniors as well as the youngsters.
