Water\'s Edge #618 ~ Ft. Walton Beach Florida Vacation Rental

Condo was in a great location, right on the beach. We had plenty of room and place was well equipped for our need. Only downside...it definately could have been cleaner.

Upon our arrival to Southern Resorts we were pleased to find our unit ready for us to "move in" for our vacation week. The accomodations were perfect. The unit is spacious, clean and perfect for those traveling with family. The view from the balcony is AWESOME. We could not have ordered a more perfect location. The grounds around the condo are beautifully kept. The workout facility is small but adequate. There is a small arcade room with vending and video games, while we did not have to use it, good to know it was there. We will DEFINITELY be back.

We found the unit to be so much better than the photos, you may need to update. The location couldn't have been better, it was close to everything. Having the beach chairs included was a big plus. We would recommend this unit to our friend and clients. However I will not recommend the agent that booked for us. On my second call to pay the remaining balance I had a few more questions about the unit and location as we have never stayed in Ft. Walton itself, but very close. (We have stayed up one side and down the other all over Florida and like this area best. Key West inc.)I fill I was treated as though I was a bother and taking up time with dumb questions. And In truth the questions probably were dumb, as I had a lot going on at this time with my business and not much time to spent finding a condo. The last draw was when I left a message on her voice mail that I had a question for her and would like a call back. She has yet to return the call. The question was about arriving a few days early and if the unit was available, and also if she had a 6 person unit available for my sister and family. After I didn't receive a call back I called another agency and found her a very nice condo and also made a 3 day arrangement for us. She ended up costing this complex quite a few bucks. I think she thought that this was a one time shot with a rookie traveler and a bother, the truth is that me & my husband come down twice a year for 2 weeks each time. And also my best Buddy owns a Travel Agency, but I book my own for Florida and other places I know well. I hope she and other agents learn something from this reply.

I relly enjoyed it. THere were 8 of us and we had plenty of room. The beach was great---very family oriented.

Beautiful beaches on okaloosa island. The condo is great. It serves all our needs. We have stayed there for the past 3 years and I think it is time the living room furniture gets replaced, but all in all it is a great condo in a beautiful location!

There were four adults with our party no children. The unit we stayed in was very comfortable and nicely furnished. We enjoyed using the chairs at the beach and sitting on the very large balcony. The pools were very nice and well kept. We had a door code issue that was taken care of very promptly. We would definitely go back again and stay at the same site.

Condo was clean and extremely well furnished, The view was wonderful and all aspects contributed to a wonderful spring break

Our family vacationed for a week at the Water's Edge (Condo #618) and had a terrific time.Chatham Beach House and had a wonderful time. This was our third trip to the Fort Walton/Destin area,but the first time at the Water's Edge and we would recommend staying there. The beach was beautiful and well maintained. The large pool was excellent for the children with us and was never overcrowded. The condo was clean and in great condition. Everything we needed was right there, including a washer and dryer inside the condo. The condo reflected the website pictures perfectly. We'd definitely recommend the Water's Edge!
