My husband and I as well as my 16 year old daughter and her friend got exactly what we hoped for - a relaxing week enjoying some down time by the inground pool and on the beach - directly across the street. Nice outdoor shower area with hot/cold water. The house was very clean and the kitchen adequately stocked. Beds were comfortable, showers were hot and we left the french doors to the front porch open most of the time for a gorgeous ocean breeze. We would definitely go back again!

Our Fall Break vacation spent at the Vista Mare was one of the best we've had. My husband and I took our three-year-old son and my sixty-year-old parents. There was more than ample space for the five of us to spread out. The area was quiet and the home afforded much desired privacy. Even though the private pool was a touch cool for this time of year, the fenced in backyard gave us a place to relax and grill out. The beach access was directly across from the home and required a total of 216 steps from the driveway to the sand! My parents enjoyed the beautiful view from the upstairs balcony where they enjoyed coffee and the ocean breeze each morning. We all enjoyed the openness of the home with the kitchen, dining and living room being connected. The comfortable living room was perfect for our son to play while my dad and husband watched the Major League play-off games and my mom and I read magazines. Seacrest Beach is almost halfway between Destin and Panama City; so, we had the opportunity to explore each of the cities while we were there for dining and shopping. This area is perfect for a family or two who is looking to spend a lot of time at the beach in an area that is not overrun with the younger crowd.
