Vista Del Mar #9 ~ Fort Walton Beach Florida Rental Condo

Had a great time and like the place. Could use new carpets and toilet paper holder ( the roll does not fit on the one they have) Walk up worth the view.March was a great timing as the weather is warm and the beach is not full. If clean and comfort is what you are looking for this is the place. Nothing fancy except the sun rise and sunset from the balcony which can't be beat.

We loved our stay at Vista del Mar #9. The proximity to the beach was superb, and overall the condo was comfortable. The front room was extremely warm, and Southern Resorts sent an a/c repairman who told us there were not enough vents to cool that room. Southern Resorts provided us with electric fans, but it was still very warm in that room. The bedrooms were comfortable. Except for the temperature, we could not have asked for a better place to stay!

We have been going to Okaloosa Island for many years and will never stop! Vista Del Mar is our home away from home - Love it!

This was our second stay in Vista Del Mar #9. We love the place. The more modern and larger condos appear to have the feel of a hotel while VDM #9 is more like an apartment with all the amenities of home.

Very nice condo. The condo was clean and had a lot of little extras that made it like a home. The only thing that was not as good as the rest was there was only 6 towels so had to wash clothes daily. Other than that it was great. We would love to come back.

We did enjoy our stay at Vista Del Mar very much. I think this unit needs a fresh coat of paint though, otherwise we enjoyed this stay very much we will return again

Southern Resorts provided professional and courteous service with which I was very pleased. The condo made us feel we had taken our home with us. It was furnished with comfortable and colorful furniture with a fully equipped kitchen. The location on the beach proved very convenient as well. To make it the perfect home away from home, another bathroom would have been a big plus. What we liked best was the ability to load up on the groceries, stock the kitchen, and stay put enjoying the beautiful view from the private balcony overlooking the white beach. If you can picture yourself sipping a hot fresh cup of coffee, watching the sunrise over the Gulf in the quiet morning hours, this maybe a place for you.

We rented 2 units for family wedding and reunion, Sep 23 to Oct 2. The units were decorated very well and were comfortable. The TVs allowed enough for all to have their space. Would suggest a stereo system for CDs etc. The location was magnificent and the access to the beach was our best ever! We had a group of children ages 2, 4, 7, and 9 who could play outside the units in the grassy area, still under our watch which was magnificent! Kitchens were large enough for us to feed our brood, and beds were comfortable. We had Units 3 and 9, and the upstairs was hot on a couple of days, but we managed to get it regulated. We look forward to our next stay and plan to choose this location for our reunions for years to come! Thank-you Dave Jackson

First, there were two minor problems. The A/C unit seems to not be working all that well as the coolest it would keep it during the heat of the day was 77, but since most of our time was spent on the beach, we didn't really care and it was fine at night. Secondly, I couldn't connect to the wireless internet, but that could have been my laptop. Overall, we had a great experience. Vista Del Mar #9 was like living in our own apartment. It was very clean and stocked with things we hadn't thought of. While we were surrounded by newer and more modern larger condo properties, we much preferred our little slice of heaven. We felt the larger condo units would make us feel as though we were at a hotel, and that is not the experience we wanted. We were so please we've already recommended it to other friends and will request the same unit when we return. Thank you for helping making our vacation a relaxing and enjoyable experience. This property was all it was advertised to be. Perfect location and well-maintained.

great place to stay very nice rooms, plenty of space for me my wife 2 grand kids and our daughter , right on the beach , and fort walton isnt as crowded as destin. we had a great stay.

I had stayed at several different properties with southern resorts before,so i knew the quality in which they presented their properties,and i was not dissappoined! this time we stayed at the vista del mar #9 on okaloosa island and as usual the place was simply gorgeous! It had everything we needed( except the groceries),and we had a great time catching up on the things that make life worth living. We visited the local resturants,spent alot of time on the beach or on the balcony just enjoying the breathtaking scenery.We took advantage of the many amenities that southern resorts provided for us,including leaving the keys in a secured box because we arrived past closing,and we greatly appreciated the curtesy!this beautiful place is a must for families who are looking for a great vacation spot at very affordable prices!Thank you southern resorts fo being there just when our family needed you!
