Sunshines - Destin, FL - 5 bedrooms - 4 baths

We had 3 families stay at Sunshines and with all the space made the stay great. The location of Sunshines was good with Wal Mart and various food places within minutes of the house. The beach was just a small walk so there was no need in having to load everyone into the vehicles. The only problem we found was a leak from the air conditioning unit, which maintance was on top within about 4 hrs of being called. Although the leak was unable to be completely resolved it had no effect on our stay, the air contiuned to cool the house. All personal that we came in contact with was friendly and helpful.

We spent Fall Break Week at Sunshines. We had 15 people from 3 different states coming at different times, leaving at different times. Some stayed the whole week, one stayed only one day, but we all enjoyed the home. The home provided plenty of room and privacy for everyone within a short walk from the beach. The pool was a great spot to begin and end each day. The kitchen was well-equipped to cook for a large crowd and there was plenty of seating. Most of the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and linens. There were a couple of things that could improve. The bathrooms were basic and the carpet was quite worn. Otherwise, it was roomy and comfortable and we would definitely consider renting Sunshines again.

We had stayed at this house 3 years ago. We love the house and the area. Unfortunately, the house really needs some updates, ie: carpet, pool area, gas grill. However, in light of that, we had a great vacation with multiple family members from different areas. Loved the Donut Hole!!

Lots of space! Very short walk to the beach. The backyard pool was great for the kids to play in while we fixed meals after a morning or afternoon at the beach. Hideabed mattresses not so great for adults. Dishwasher needs a new latch. The rest of the appliances okay. Adequate seating for meals with kitchen and diningroom tables with space to seat 18. Maintenance responded well to our calls. Don't try to shop for food Saturday or Sunday nights, Walmart is slammed. Very convenient to all kinds of shopping and entertainment.

Sunshines is a great property if you are ever looking for a huge house to accommodate a lot of people. This is great.....Everybody will still be able to enjoy their privacy.. The service that I received from Southern Resorts was a class act all the way. I would recommend them time and time again. This was first time using them and I was not disappointed. The website did them an injustice because the house was absolutely gorgeous. The home was exactly that a HOME. We had more than enough room. The furnishings in the house were perfect and very nice. The dishes and silverware were great. The location by the beach was a very short walk but it was close enough for carrying things without getting tired. I loved everything about this house. The only thing that I could complain about if you want to call it a complaint is the time for us to check out. I know that they have to get the house ready for the next customer but I just felt like we should be able to check out when we check in.

We were very excited about the location The home was the size we needed everything was clean and ready for use We liked the layout with the 5 bedrooms and 4 baths The pool was clean, nice size, privacy The billing was right on time and accurate Our children and grandchildren enjoyed every minute of the stay. Southern Resorts was spectacular to deal with. I highly recommend them. The house itself was very good and a great location. There were alot of little things about the house that could have been better. The bathrooms need to be updated (and better cleaned) and the kitchen needs to be better stocked but overall the place was perfect. The experience was wonderful and my family had a great time and we were very comfortable and well taken care of. We would rent there again and are thinking of doing so again next year.

I searched for months for a special place to take our 1st vacation together as a family. We have 7 children (5 who are married)and 6 granddaughters. This vacation was our Christmas present to our children who can't afford to take their famillies on a trip like this. So we found this property online and I was very concerned about how it was going to work only seeing the pictures through my computer. But the house was more than we expected and the beach was fantastic. We had a glorious time making memories that can't ever be duplicated. Thank you!!!!
