Starfish - Destin, FL - 4 bedrooms - 3 baths

we had aproblem with burnt out bulbs which was rapidly dealt with by friendly staff.House was clean and well equiped.

I have rented with Southern Resorts before and it has always been very easy, so I knew the lodging would be very nice. This time we choose a private home rental in a gated beach community. The house we choose, Starfish, was very lush, clean and a great location. The pool was lovely and offered a zero entry and plenty on chairs and shade. You called for the beach tram 10-15 minutes before your desired pickup time and was shuttled from your house to the beach. Same thing on the return. It was probrably a 10 minute walk if you wanted to walk it. You have a 2 car private parking in front of the house and all the supplies of home. I hope to stay here again. All the furnishings in the house were very nice and it was only a couple minute walk to the pool. Just one street over. We used the tropical pool and hot tub every day and night.

This is a beautiful home and was well equipped. However, when we arrived there were no towels or toilet paper in the master bedroom, a situation that I discovered only too late (if you know what I mean). No big deal, except that I had to call three times before finally getting these delivered at 4:00pm the next day. The place could have used a good cleaning, too, as heavy summer traffic had taken its toll. Thankfully, there were no major problems with the accomodations, because the response by Southern Resorts was anything but prompt.

The house is a wonderful vacation home for familys with children. It was very clean and modern and we had an easy excess to it.(keyless) The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a dinner. The pool was a fresh and clean opportunity after a day at the beach.

We just stayed in "Starfish" this past week and it was just wonderful. We love to stay at the Villages at Crystal Beach because the homes are all immaculate, it is a safe gated community and of course, the pool is always just wonderful!! This was our first time staying in this home but it was beautiful, the kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and then some, comfortable furniture throughout the home and nice beds & linens. First of all, it is always a nightmare to try and manage to take off to go anywhere but then to find somewhere that is at least as nice (if not nicer) than our own home and for it to be budget friendly is not easy to do. Stay here - you will love it & you will get your monies worth. This home is beautiful!!

Our family truely enjoyed Starfish beach house. The home was gorgeous, clean, nicely furnished, walking distance to the relaxing beach & Destin Commoms shopping center which my husband & I enjoyed during our stay. The community had an amazing pool & hot tub our kids loved. We also liked the modern decor such as granite countertops, washer/dryer, stainless steel appliances & jacuzzi tub in master bath on second floor. The home was very spacious and comfortable, except for the bunk bed room that was slightly small. It was also pleasantly stocked with all of the kitchen supplies we needed. This was our first time renting through Southern Resorts. The rep was very professional and even offered me a discount to make sure she would get our business. Once we checked in, the rep was very informative & even gave us two Southern Resorts coffee cups. Overall we had a great experience!!! We would definitely stay there again in a near future during the summer not Spring Break to enjoy the beach more! .

Our family fully enjoyed Starfish. It was fully stocked with all of the supplies we needed. It was clean, and a quick walk to the beach, close to shopping, etc. I especially loved the modern decor. It's what I requesed when I contacted the rental company, and they found exactly what I wanted. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a little difficulty locating the beach house initially and did not have the code access to the gate, but after arriving...it was a pleasant surprise. The home was spacious and comfortable. Close to the beach (trolley service was available) but is walking distance. Close to Destin commons shopping (across the street from Bass Pro shops). Pool was amazing. Although no tennis courts were available on site, the Destin Tennis Club courts were only 3 miles away. Would definitely recommend it to others and plan to return next summer!!

Our stay a the Starfish property was everything we wanted plus a little extra, very convienent to get in or out , close to all of the shopping/ grocery store etc. The kids and grand kids really liked the pool area. The house itself slept all 8 of us very comfortable and the layout of the floor plan made everything flow very good. Very nice property and would recommend to anyone.

This is our first time renting through Southern Rentals and overall we had a great experience. They are very professional and well organized. The Starfish was a beautiful beach house in a great gated community near the beach. The community pool was gorgeous. The only thing that was a little difficult was having 3 small children and trying to get them to the beach. We planned to take the complimentary trolley, but it did not start until 10am. If you are a late riser then this is no problem. If you have older kids who can walk with beach items or ride bikes to the beach then this is perfect for you.

We had no idea what the home would be like, but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The home was beautiful, clean, high dollar furnishings, granite counters, beautiful bathrooms, and again very CLEAN. We felt very safe and the lagoon pool was amazing. We were 3-4 blocks from the beach but the shuttle would drop you off and then offer to pick you back up if needed. We like to walk so we typically would walk back. The bunk bed room was a little small but for kids it was perfect. We had a great washer/dryer, all stainless steel appliances. We will return and rent this home again. The price was very reasonable, ask about specials and bargin with them. I saved a few hundred dollars by asking for last minute specials. Souther Resorts was great to work with...

This was our 6th year to visit Destin. We have stayed in other house managed by other companies. The neighborhood was great. The pool was incredable. The house was beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed. The beach shuttle would make rounds quickly. If you needed them to pick you up at the house or the beach, all you had to do was call.  We would definitely stay here again. Great place to vacation!!!
