Spanish Key #204 ~ Condo For Rent in Perdido Key, FL

We have vacationed in the Perdido Key area for over 39 years until Hurricane Ivan destroyed our family condo at Vista del Mar. We have come back every year since except for last year. We went somewhere else due to the oil spill. We really missed our key and wanted to come back. We have never stayed at Spanish Key. It was a great condo. In fact, my 7 year old granddaughter commented as we were leaving that she wanted to come back to that condo next year. We had a couple of problems. We got there an hour early for checkin and I gave the front desk lady my cell phone number. She said she would call me when the unit was ready. The check in a little bit too late even though I know there was a large turnover that weekend. I still have not received a call saying we could get in. We were unable to get on WiFi. Seems someone stole the wireless router. I called on Sunday and the nice lady from the actual building came up. We were able to use a cord I had from home to get on. The router was replaced on Monday but it did not work all the time. We had a couple of small maintenance things that I told them about on Saturday that I did not want to be accused of doing but they were not addressed. One was the front of the drawer at the wet bar was hanging off when we arrived and a nob on the entertainment center. Just wanted to make sure they knew we did not do that. The dishwasher had not been emptied and was the fullest I have ever seen a dishwasher. Every glass and mug were in there. It was so packed, things were not clean. The rest of the condo was great except there is no closet in the front bedroom. The one there is the owners closet and was locked. There needs to be some hooks or something to hang a few clothes but I hung mine in the laundry area. Overall, it is a great condo and we had a great time. Great to be back on the key.

the place was great - very spacious with everything we needed. the room colors are vibrant and just what you want in a FL rental. check in was very simple and the one hitch we had with an early check in and not sending the right code was solved with a simple phone call - even answered on a Sunday. My family and I had a blast and will be back!

We had 3 families together on the trip and there was plenty of room in the condo for everyone. Great access to the beach and not too crowded. A very relaxing week. Thanks!

Condo was clean and comfortable, great location. We got a little rain so the indoor pool came in handy. No crowds on the beach or by the pool. Big table to play games around which we did every night. Only complaint- Would have been nice to at least have salt and pepper on hand.

I called Pointe South Vacation Rentals about a month before Mullet Toss. I asked for a list of places within a mile of Flora-Bama. They gave me several dozen options that were available, I gave them what I was looking for (eg. my price range, number of people with me), and they got me set right up. I was able to easily pay my first deposit over the phone, and then just mailed a check for the rest. The place was overwhelming. Everything needed for a stay at the beach for a weekend was provided for in this 3 bedroom condo. The master bedroom and bathroom were great. That part of the condo was the most overwhelming. I could walk to Flora-Bama in under 5 minutes. Check out short and simple. I even asked for a time extension the morning of my check out. All I did was walk in the office, drop off the keys, and I was done!

The Condo was very clean,comfortable, and reasonably well equipped. TVs could use updating and a small stereo would have been nice. Otherwise, nice accomodations. And, within easy walking distance of the Florabama!
