We really enjoyed our stay. The house was just a short walk to the beach. It was really nice having a washer and dryer. Everyone was friendly. The only downside was not being able to get the dvd player in the livingroom to work. All in all it was a good experience.

The location is great - just a short walk to the beach. The pool nearby is clean and family-friendly. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. There is a washer/dryer in the house. A+!

We had a wonderful time in Destin. It was one of the best family vacations we've taken. The food options were great, the shopping was second to none and the beach was gorgeous and relaxing. We have a child and a teenager but we all enjoyed our stay. The house is nice, clean and very bright in the master bedroom in the mornings. I'd recommend bringing your own towels if you prefer large soft towels. It would also be great if the owners would add an electric garage door opener. They're fairly inexpensive and it would be a great convenience for the guests.

We haven't had a better vacation that going to Destin, FL. The town, beaches, restaurants, sunsets were the best. We were so relaxed, which is exactly what we wanted, we couldn't have relaxed any more than what we were. The only discomfort we had was the furniture in the house - bed and living room furniture were hard to sleep, set on.

WE enjoyed the house and overall quiteness in Maravilla. We will definitely look to stay in this same area again or in Tuscany.

The stay was enjoyable. However, the cottage was a little dated. The smoke alarm battery was dead and kept beeping and the maintenance had to come out. The remote controls for the tv's had no batteries so we had to call about that too. It is a small detail, but ones that you dont want to worry with while on vacaction. It is supposed to be all taken care of, hence vacation. Otherwise, it was good. I would stay there again if I wanted a cheaper place because it is a little dated from some of the other places i have stayed previously. It is still a good locale. Close to everything we love to do; shopping, beach, dining.

We initially rented "Some Beach" and something came up that we had to relocate. I was very reluctant when this came about, but after talking to Southern Resorts staff, we were very pleased with our accomodations. They were very kind, understanding and apologetic to us having to change. They were patient with us trying to decide which other location would better suit our needs. We stayed at "Mainsail #29 and had a wonderful time. Our children and grandchildren will have memories of a wonderful vacation. Only down side, was that we couldn't stay longer.
