Serenity - Destin, FL - 4 bedrooms - 2 baths

Couldn't have asked for more! Serenity was the perfect place for me, my husband, our four kids (all under 10) and our sitter. The bedroom situation was just right with the two sets of bunk beds. The kitchen was a good size and had all the supplies we needed. I had read older posts and did bring spices, trash bags, and laundry detergent... As well as other food that would travel. The house is so close to shopping and the beach! We enjoyed the pool and the nice, yet casual decor of the house. The pictures don't do it justice. The outside of the house needs a little work (screen door broken, etc.) but nothing that would keep us from going back again and again. We had a great time.

Nice and quiet neighborhood. The beach was only 3 minutes walk away. House and was clean but need updating. The outdoor shower was very useful after a swim at the beach or from the private pool. The house had everything comfortably like internet, cable, and board games for our kids.

My husband and I carried our adult children and grandchildren to Destin the week of July 4th. The house was perfect for us with all the children. We had 5 grandchildren ages 4 to 9, the beach was a short walk and the pool was great. This house was perfect for a group, because of the bedrooms opening out to the porch , you could get up without waking up everyone. One thing I would suggest to the owner is to have more pictures of the house. You do not realize how big the house is or any of the great features this house has. To sum it up, great house , great vacation.

Good comfortable house, great location. Very small narrow driveway, limited parking. The guest bedroom situation wasnt the best for our family needs. We love the crystal beach neighborhood for walking and closeness to shopping and the beach.

We really enjoyed the vacation! It was great to be in a neighborhood so close to the water and near shopping!

We would rent through southern resorts again. The house "serenity" was perfect for the 8 of us (4 adults and 4 kids). The pool heater was broke (temp got up to 102 degrees), but our money was refunded. We had only rented condos before, so I was not aware of the staple items we would need to purchase (such as laundry soap, dish soap, trash bags, and toilet paper). There were enough garbage bags and TP for a couple days, but that was all. Next time I will bring those items along. The house was very close to the ocean and was on a quiet street. Overall...a great time!

We had a tremendous time on our Destin vacation. The house was very comfortable and relaxing, not a place that you felt you had to worry about touching things. It is on a quiet side street, but close enough to walk to restaurants and stores. Although we were all adults, it would be a great house for kids, with the bunk beds and pool.If I had any complaint, it would be that the kitchen could have been better supplied, for example, pot holders, spices. Since we flew to Florida, there were things we could have used that people who drive might bring with them. The same might go for beach supplies, as we had to buy chairs and umbrellas for our stay. These are items that have been supplied by the owner at other beach locations at which we have vacationed. All in all, I would definitely recommend Serenity for a peaceful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. I was a little worried when we rented a house because I had never rented a house before. We always stayed in a condo. It turned out really nice and I would reccommend it to anyone who has never tried it.

Well located, close walking distance to beach, and resturants close by. Pool heater did not work, but otherwise no problems. House comfortable, casual. Good selection for family with multiple kids. Not good for group of adults as 2 rooms have bunk beds.

The house was very nice, very accomodating. It was a great house for the price. Even though it only had two bathrooms for the four bedrooms it was enough for us. The pool was a nice size for our family (we had 4 adults and 4 children). It was sooooo close to the beach.

We stayed at Serenity in July with our 2 kids and another family of 4. We had such a great time that we cannot imagine going anywhere else in the future.
