Seascape in Destin

This condo was very comfortable and all your needs were projected. From the well stocked kitchen ware, washer/dryer, nice screened in porch, new, clean furniture. Being close to the beach and restaurants was great as well.

We were in Florida for a high school graduation and had our adult children and grandchildren with us. Great location, walk across driveway to pool, across the street to the beach, overlooking lake in back. Restaurants within walking distance. Master has a good bed. In second bedroom upstairs the twin bed seemed a bit short and uncomfortable for an adult. Received arrival info online, keyless entry, never had to go to office to check-in or upon departure. Good response from Southern Resorts. We have rented with them before and always prompt service. Would stay here again.

This will make the 3rd stay in this particular condo. I love it's location. It is across the street from the water. A great area of town. The condo is very roomy and comfortable. There is a homeowners association that needs to do a better job of keeping the stairs and balcony cleaner. There was mold and cobwebs on staircase. I will go back again because I enjoy the place. But I don't mind taking the time to call and complain to those not doing their jobs. Except for these minor issues, it is a well kept lovely place.

I love going to Destin and staying at unit 230. It is so close to the beach and still private and safe. I had one issue that I called everyone for help. My beach chairs dissappeared from in front of my unit. I felt very sure that someone put them in unit 229 but I could not get any one to come open it to look. three days later I saw a cleaning person getting ready to go into unti 229. We asked if some beach chairs were in that apartment. We described our property to her. When she opened the door, there they were just as we suspected. It was a great deal of my effort to resolve our issue and very little on Southern Vacation Rentals since they were not the managers of that unit. The homeowners association was no help either.

Never being to Destin before the office gave us 5 condos to look at and we picked this one as the best fit for us. The kitchen had new appliances and everything we'd need for utensils and dishes. The furniture and king bed were comfortable, the patio view of the pond and golf course was lovely, it was a nice neighborhood for walking and it was quiet. The beach was just a short walk away and we loved all the sidewalks for walking and biking in the area.

Our stay exceeded our expectations!

its a really nice place to stay.. it got 3 bedroom and 2 bath... can sleep up to 10 people if i not mistaken.. it also has a great price....

We found this property by going internet surfing and contacted Southern Resorts. The website was extremely helpful and pictures were very acurate of the property. We, 10 of us, slept very comfortably in the condo, which was very clean, and appreciated the nice furniture available. The grounds were nicley kept, and we actually enjoyed the little walk to the beach. The staff at Southern Resorts were very kind and actually let us in the property early because we arrived earlier than check in time and the property had been cleaned. This is a very peaceful condo, with a beautiful lake in the back and gives a serene feel to your stay. We thouroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a blast when we came. There is plenty to do to keep you from being bored!!! We rented waverunners and played in the ocean, went parasailing, and had loads of fun and much laughter. We also took late night walks on the beach, to get away from the teenagers and really enjoyed our stay. Yes, we will rent from Southern Resorts again!!!
