Portofino #1-1309 - Pensacola Beach, FL - 2 bedrooms - 2.5 baths

This was our first trip to Pensacola Beach and loved the area. The Portofino facility was wonderful. We went during the Spring Break season but didn't want to deal with Spring Break craziness. It was very family oriented and not at all crowded. The staff, facilities, everything was top-notch. Have already recommended the location and facility to lots of people. We are planning our trip for next year but we'll need a bigger place to bring more people with us! The only negative was that the condo didn't have an outdoor grill. We would have loved to make some steaks and enjoy the view. Other than that, a great trip and location.

upon arrival we were amazed about the location being on the beach, and well pleased with the condo. When entering the condo the size and space were awesome, especially with two twenty year old young ladies and a 9 year old goddaughter, so much better than being in a hotel. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. An excellent view of the gulf from every room and from the balcony we had comfortable seating with an awesome view of the bay area and the Gulf. I will and have recommended this location to all my family and friends.

Beautiful resort and condo. This one was affordable and very comparable in price (cheapest I found here) to other condos at the same resort. I loved it. Only complaints I have were mostly in the kitchen. The fridge has a sign on it about how it is cleaned out after each guest and when we opened it, it had 3 eggs in the door that were left and the rest of it could definitely have been cleaned more. Also, all utensils, dishes, pans, etc are provided which is great however, all needed to be rewashed before use and all the pans' coatings were peeling off from using metal spatulas on them so to prevent that from ending up in our food, we went and bought a new one for us and a plastic spatula. The stove top took forever to heat up and boiling water was a 30 min ordeal, the right front one was pretty much useless. Other than that, everything was great! I would definitely go back to this condo using this agency

this condo was awesome! from the location to the view to the furnishings everything was perfect. i had never stayed in a condo before but thought since my kids were older and bigger we should have more room and this arrangement worked out perfectly. perfect for a family of 4. there were no problems during our stay, the staff at the front desk were great on giving tourist ideas and the trolley was a great idea. we took it to town (less then 10 min ride) for dinner one night so the husband and i could have a few drinks without driving. the portafino location itself was premiere. everything thing you need is literally right down the street, except for the grocery store which was over the bridge but not far. we did have maintenance come out one time. the master bedroom fan would make a ticking sound when on high, the fan worked just was too loud for me. we called southern resorts and a man was at our door within 2 hours! he fixed it and southern even called back that evening to make sure everything was fixed. the beach and amenities were supreme, we really enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards. all right there on the beach. and being in tower 1 you dont have far to go. there are showering stations at the pool and in the grassy area when coming from the beach with was nice because my kids managed to get sand all over themselves. the pool was beautiful and the kids really enjoyed the hot tub. what is it about getting in the hot tub and then jumping into the pool?! there are ample opportunities to meet other people/families if you want but you are also not a prude if you just want some time with your family. people can read that well there. we met several couples that live on the resort and were always helpful. the neighbor next to us was really nice, i apologized that my kids seemed to slam the front door for some reason and she was very sweet. even though you're in a condo we never heard other people come and go.

It was clean, nice and pleasant. The staff was friendly. One thing we would do differently is buy directly from Portofino. They have packages that include things like beach sets and discounts on activities and rentals. We rented from Southern Resorts but had we gone to Portofino directly we would have gotten a better deal for the same money.

Best vacation value... The Portifino is just amazing! Clean condos, incredible views. We were spoiled with the many amenities. We have taken several vacations, including 10 cruises, this ranked in the top 3! Very laid back, several pools/hot tubs, great work out area just steps from the condos. Beautiful white sand beach in the front yard. Close to everything, yet far enough away to be somewhat secluded. We will be back! over and over!

Clean and modern. Amenities top rate. Very friendly employees. Very minor things that would of been nice since I was there 11 days I think would be more dishwasher detergent,paper towel, dryer sheets, a full length mirror, better quality cookware, a pitcher. the chairs screetch when moved across the floor as did also when the people upstairs moved theirs and it was annoying. a grill on the patio would have been great too.

place is extraordinary. Thought it would be cookie cutter brochure like, mill-like, gulf resort. instead it felt like home away from home. Privacy and comfort a wonderful combination. the real estate is just perfect. 30 miles of national seashore reserve to the left, bars and restaurants to the right and Jamaica straight ahead.

The condo was nicely furnished and was very clean. The kitchen had plenty of pots, dishes, etc. for cooking. The views were outstanding. The pools were exceptionally clean. The restaurant menu was very limited due to the season but the food was excellent. You are just across the street from the white sand beach. The morning walks along the beach and watching the sun rise was awesome.

We had perfect weather and the condo was nicely furnished and clean. The only thing that was missing were small essentials (dish soap, trash bags, etc.) and a shortage of bath towels with no laundry detergent to wash the ones that we had. Overall though, a very nice stay.

This was a very relaxing trip, room 1-1309 faces at a angle towards the Gulf of Mexico looking down the beach that is truly remarkable, the condo was very clean and well equipped with cooking supplies, towels, etc.. The bay can be seen from the 13th floor balcony as well. Multiple pools and jacuzzi's to choose from, even a large inside pool, spa and dinning are available. The area also has five lighted clay tennis courts.

The unit and the service met my expectations very well.
