Perdido Sun #416 ~ Vacation Condo in Perdido Key, FL

Location is awesome! Love the view of the pool, beach, and the gulf that this unit affords. Like the upgrade to the TV from the last time we stayed in this unit two years ago.

We love Perdido Keys and the unit we stayed in was wonderful. Home away from home!!

I love staying at the Perdido Sun on my beach trips and this was a great unit. We got a great deal on it, as well. This unit was spacious and clean and had a huge balcony. Everyone was comfortable and happy. The only problem we ran into is that two of the three toilets threatened to overflow, but they never did. The kitchen was a bit small, but it was the standard sized kitchen for all units at the Perdido Sun. We brought some of our own kitchen supplies from home such as a slow cooker and some sharp knives. The Perdido Sun is a great condo. If you want fun activities, Orange Beach & Gulf Shores are very close. If you want to simply relax, Perdido is the perfect vacation spot. Also, there is a Walmart Supercenter just a few miles down the road for more affordable groceries. But if you're looking for convenience, there were two other grocery stores (Publix and Winn Dixie, I believe) even closer. You can't go wrong staying at any unit at the Perdido Sun, but if you have a larger group or just want a larger unit, Perdido Sun #416 will not disappoint. I hope to stay here again in the future.

This condo was very nice and accomidating for our stay. Liked that it was a keyless entry and we did not have to pass around a key between us. Laundry unit inside the condo was also nice. Location was great and porch. Only thing that we did not like was the type of braclets used for the pool and the slow elevators. But had 2 different stair cases to use.

Perdido Key is the only place to stay, hands down. Quiet and family oriented. The condo was perfect. I would have liked to just stay in the room or on the beach and not gone anywhere else. Lots of room. I could live there with no problem. I liked that it was an end unit with more windows. The balcony was so nice. It was high enough that we could watch the fish and birds and not hear people on the ground then low enough so I didn't feel like we were in the clouds.. The kitchen was well stocked. Having the washer and dryer was made it a a+++. The laundry area was even large. 4 flat screen tvs. We did have trouble with the internet but I really didn't care because I was on vacation. The couchs were large and comfortable. The wet bar area was a great place to put the coffee maker and ice tea maker. My dad is 93 and felt much at home there. He sat on the balcony every morning when he got up. The rental company was always available when needed. Thanks to all who helped make this vacation a very, very relaxing one

Great for a family of 6, had mostly everything that we needed. Very clean

The condo was great. I love the Perdido Sun! Constructive criticism: the master bedroom is stuffy. A fan in the room may help. The fire alarm in the building went off. The ironic part is the last visit to the Perdido Sun, four or five years ago, and the same thing happened. The fire alarm went off, the building evacuated, the vacation delayed, and it was some malfunction of the system.

We had four adults and six of our grandchildren with us for this vacation. We have been traveling to Florida for Spring Break for over thirty-five years, all to locations on the east coast, such as, Cocoa Beach, Melbourne, Orlando, and Kissimmee. Friends invited us to share spring break with them on the west coast. We immediately contacted Southern Vacation Rentals and I was directed to call a gentleman who owns apt#416 at Perdido Sun. He gave me what I thought was a fair price on his unit and the rest is history. However, I have since learned that by waiting until the last possible moment, you can get much better deals. I have mentioned your agency and Perdido Sun to many of my friends and relatives. My wife has been sharing all of the pictures taken of the hotel and surrounding areas on facebook. We really enjoyed our stayed, only problem I had was on our check out day. Someone got the days mixed up and we had to leave a day earlier than we expected.

Southern Resorts responded quickly to two of our concerns. They sent a repairman the same day we reported dishwasher was broken. They helped us connect to the Internet. However, the router in our unit was not properly labeled.

We love the Perdido Sun facilities and this condo was very roomy and very clean. Our only complaint is that the King bed and Queen bed were very hard and uncomfortable. We did not sleep well because of this.

The accomodations were great and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. The staff at Southern Resorts (Point South) were very accomodating and provided excellent service. The condo itself is very comfortable and the lcd tv's in the bedrooms and living area were very nice to watch tv or a movie on. The only down side is the patio furniture on the balcony. The view was great but the furniture was not very comfortable. Overall, I would recommend this condo for it's value and accomodations. We had a wonderful time catching up with family members and hope to come back next summer! The Barnes' (Florida)

Our family Loves Perdido Sun. The owner of this unit is totally great to rent from. We have rented from him many times. The new TV were a nice surprise on this visit. Condo is huge and perfect for any family. I would like to see one change for next year. Please add a deadbolt to the exterior door for the 3rd bedroom. I worry about that door not being locked at night time. I had two young girls in that room and I thought about it every night. The only other issue with staying in any of the 3 bedroom units in Perdido Sun is that because they are at the end of the building that is closest to the street and the maintenance garage, the noise in the morning gets old by the end of the week. We have stayed in Perdido Sun for 6-7 years and we will continue to stay there. I will always call Rick for unit 416 before I call anyone else. Thanks Rick for having an awesome place for us to stay.

We had a wonderful time. The Perdido Sun is a very nice place to stay. Even though the first 10 days the weather was cold and miserable we were able to enjoy the indoor pool and even the hot tub. The condo itself was great. So much room and everything we needed. I hope we are able to stay there again.

The condo was just as described...met all our needs and family had a great time. Hope to be able to return for another month sometime in the near future. We had family that ranged in age from 4 months to 61 years and we all had a wonderful time. Children made great strides in their swimming especially due to the heated indoor pool. Would love to have had a children's playground available within walking distance.

I was pleasantly surprised how much extra space was available. The pictures on the website made me expect the condo to be smaller than it actually was. The only down-side was that for check-out, I had to go off-site to return the keys rather than just going to the lobby desk at the condo. But everyone in my party had a great time and was really impressed with the condo.

The people at Pointe South Vacation Rentals were very nice. The condo was great. We couldn't have ask for anything better than this condo. It was very clean, alot of room inside, very well decorated and a great view of the ocean.

We had to come down to Perdido Key for a Soccer Tournament. I found this place on the internet and was so glad I did. Not only was it easy to book but the owner was Extremely Nice and offered plenty of pics so we could figure who was going to sleep where!! The condo is so nice and VERY LARGE!!!!! Would love to stay here again and have referred this place on to others already!!! :)

We had no trouble checking in and all was what we expected. The unit was clean, spacious, and had beautiful views. I like the location because it is less built up than places like Ft Walton and even Pensacola. The beach is gorgeous with lots of wildlife, and the pools are very nice. I liked the after hours security locks. Pointe South was a pleasure to deal with, and the front desk personnel at the condo were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The condo was very spacious with good sized bedrooms, large living area, plenty of dishes, table seating for nine, and comfortable beds. One of the bedrooms had a spectacular view of the pool and ocean. The ocean was perfect...no seaweed or jellyfish, calm waves, clean sand and not crowded. The indoor and outdoor pools were clean and well maintained. Great family fun. On the downside, the condo floor was not well rinsed when we arrived, but housekeeping came and remopped. It took twice, but they got the job done. The hot tub was too hot for anyone to get in, but maintenance was working on it at the end of our stay. The complex was older than most and the balcony had solid railing on the patio, so you did not necessarily have an ocean view unless you could see over the wall. Overall we had a great time and recommend the Perdido Sun.

We loved this condo and wish we could afford it during peak season! The location is wonderful. Many things to do around Perdido Key and Orange Beach! The condo is nicely furnished and an excellent view of the beach and pool, which would be great for keeping an eye on older children. Even thought the weather was wonderful, it was nice to have the indoor pool for the kids to swim in. We also enjoyed having a gym to take advantage of. We only had some minor issues with the unit. The jets in the jacuzzi did not work and one of the showers was clogged, but everything else was nice. Having so many TVs was a luxury for our family as well. It was a very nice way to spend Thanksgiving!
