Pelican Isle #511 - Fort Walton Beach, FL - 2 bedrooms - 2 baths

Very well decorated and appointed close to the level of our 'Presidents Harbor" condo at Silverleaf. The kitchen was well serviced. The only drawback was the comfort of the master bed. Overall everything was very well done. Very well maintained.

Everything was great with the condo except the dryer would not dry the clothes. We had maintenance work on it once, but, still was not fixed. I had to bring home laundry and I did not enjoy that. Other than that, we loved the condo!!

The apartment was awesome; beautifully furnished and very clean. The view was spendid. The beach was extremely accessible and the pool was too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with comfort. The grocery store and restaurants were nearby. The only downside - and it wasn't too big a deal - was that the master bathroom didn't have a shower. It had a handheld shower head in the bath. Other than that there is not one thing I didn't like about our stay there. My five year old didn't want to leave and is already asking to go back!!!

The view was awesome! The room was beuatiful, well-kept and inviting. My children loved being able to see the ocean from our room. What a relaxing trip!

The view from the balcony alone is worth the rental fee. I wish I was there watching the ocean and drinking a beer now. This was our third stay at Pelican Isle, and second in unit 511. We'll be back again next year.

The weather was a little un-cooperative, but our stay was wonderful. We found Unit 511 to be clean and fresh. The door combo had been e-mailed to us in advance, so check in was a breeze. I highly recommend this vacation location!!!!!

Southern resorts was wonderful to work with in order to book the condo as we even changed plans the day of our vacation. When we arrived, the condo was beautiful. The view from the condo was amazing. The condo itself is quite roomy. The only complaint that I have is the the jets in the garden tub didn't work. That was a real bummer. Otherwise, the weather was great, the ocean was still warm enough to swim in, and we had an amazing time at the beach.

The condo was beautifully decorated and very spacious.It had all of the amenities that you would have at home, plus a beautiful view of the beach off the patio. The walk to the beach was very short which we liked because we always have so much to carry to the beach.We loved that there was a key pad to enter a code to get into the condo instead of having to worry about keeping up with the keys. We would definitely recommend staying at Pelican Isle.

We stayed at this beautiful condo for a weekend. It was very nice and decorated well. I loved that the master bedroom was to the back with a large bathroom for privacy feeling. The master bath did not have a shower which was a little awkward. It was nice to have a washer/dryer, but they were TINY and could only wash a handful of clothes at one time. The pure white beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. There was plenty of things to do in nearby ft walton and destin. We stayed the previous week in navarre and would definitely go back to navarre again for future vacations, not so sure about ft walton. overall, lovely experience.

Stayed one week here with daughters and friends, everything was pefect. No complaints. Accomodations were fine, southern resorts staffing is excellent and go out of their way to make your stay great. Can't wait to go back.

A great relaxing week ,loved the beaches.

Although it was a good place to spend the winter months, I feel the winter guests should be able to stay thru the month of March. The weather in that area doesn't really get nice until March and, therefore, the winter guests only get a couple of good, warm weeks. I would only stay in that area again if I could stay thru March.

I couldn't believe the ease of renting this condo through VRBO. I had direct communication with the owner and could actually ask direct questions and get direct answers. The condo was beautifully decorated and very convenient to everything we wanted to do. The view was spectacular and everything we needed was right there in there in the condo. The condo seemed very kid friendly also, I didn't really have to worry about my 6 year old breaking anything or touching something he shouldn't. If I could make one suggestion it would be to put a showerhead on the wall in the master bath. Having it near the faucets made it inconvenient because you had to hold the shower head the whole time. So, we all ended up using the guest bath to take a shower in. However, I loved the depth of the bathtub in masterbath and the jets!

This was a very relaxing vacation for us. It was in a quiet area, which we loved. The rooms were wonderful and we would recommend them to anyone. The employees at Southern Resorts were very helpful.

Shared this condo with another couple and two teenagers, total of 6. There was plenty of room for everybody, each room is very spacious. The view is fantastic, close to the beach. Pool, hot tub, work out facility, ample parking, all very nice! Quiet surroundings also. Close proximity to nice dining. Our week went way to fast. We have already booked for 2009!
