Vacation rentals called a short time after I booked and upgraded my stay to another condominium because another family had wanted the one I rented. The upgrade was amazing and the price did not change. Check in was totally painless. We went straight to the room and the code we were given worked on the first try! We will be booking with SouthernVacation rentals from now on!!

This trip was the best. there were so many things to do and see.It was our first stay in destin,and we will return soon.the room was beautiful and well kept. the only thing I can think of neg. was the bed was really stiff,other than that,it was great!

This is the perfect room, I was a little worried at first due to it being a side view but It was amazing. We could see both the sunrise and sunset, and being the last unit we had windows and 2 balconies with panoromic views. It was lovely! The room also had a washer and drying which we were unaware of (which was wonderful being at the beach and the sand and all). I hope we get the chance to stay here again. The elevators were also surprisingly fast too. This was a great experience.

There were seven of us and we had plenty of room. We loved our view and the elevator being right beside the room. It was a wonderful time in our lives. We will definitely be back.

Southern Resorts was very easy to find for check-in & offered excellent & friendly customer service. Room 1918 was not colorfully decorated but met our family needs. From the large balcony the view is a unobstructed side view of the gulf & to the left the Big Kahuna Water park across the street. This room is literally a step away from the elevator taking you to the parking deck,the fitness center, inside pool, outside pool, cafe and grills. Very convenient. NICE! We enjoyed the live music on selected evenings by the sundeck. The thing we liked best about this complex was the location & atmosphere. The crowded beach was what we disliked the most. If You are bringing your own chairs and umbrellas you MUST get up early (6am or earlier) to stake your claim to the beach. By 7 or 8am the limited beach space in front of the complex is a sea of umbrellas (personal & rented ones). Both complexes on either side but up signs and rope stating private beaches and strictly enforce their private beach. Overall, our visit was good vacation.

My wife and myself spent a wonderful week staying at Pelican Beach Condo's. The room was very spacious and clean. It was an easy check -in. The complex has lots of amenities. Just walk righ out to the Gulf. I would highly recommend Pelican Beach for anyone who wants a pleasant stay in Destin.
