Ocean Reef #908 - Panama City Beach, FL - 2 bedrooms - 2 baths

Wow This was by for the best condo we have ever stayed in. Very large, furnished very nice, and the view was outstanding.

I loved the keyless entry and how very easy it was to book #908 at Ocean Reef. The condo was just beautiful and in a perfect location. Close to everything, but not in the middle of all the traffic. The inside of our condo was very roomy and beautiful, the beds were so nice and comfortable. We had everything that we needed right there in the condo. The pool was just gorgeous and sparkling clean. The elevators were fast and convenient and the covered parking was very nice. I liked the fact that security was right there on the premises. The only thing that I can think of that we didn't like was that they were no carts at the elevators to help get your luggage to your unit. So everything has to be carried by hand to your unit.

I feel this was a good choice due to the location and the outlay of the condo. My girlfriend and I were pleased, and so was my brother and his companion. There were only minor concerns such as the glass being missing from the living room table, the shower curtains being mildewed, and the tub drains being clogged up, and the mesh sliding door not functioning. With a price of $700 dollars for three days, I feel that these things could be easily repaired. My recommendation would be that you go to Family Dollar and purchase several shower liners for $2 a piece, and simply change them out every two weeks, which would only be $4 dollars a month. To nice of a condo to have dirty and mildewed shower curtain liners. I'm not complaining, because I enjoyed the stay and plan on coming back. Guys really don't care but these were just a few things the women pointed out

Ice cold indoor heated pool. Absolutely no heat and as far as I understand the homeowners association is very aware of this issue. Thank goodness it was warm that week. The BBQ pits need some serious repair. Only one of them work and it works barely. The ignitors are broken and you have to light it manually. The unit itself was great, except the beds were terrible for side sleepers. The porch was fabulous and the furniture out there was the best ever. The check in/out was easy. Stock more than 3 rolls of toilet paper. I like the addition of the mini bottle of soap for the kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Reef #908. The condo has great furnishings and decor. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The only negative was the shower curtain liners. They were kinda grungy and need to be replaced. We also had a problem getting into the trash slot and had to take our trash to the outside dump on the ground floor. We will come again.

Two couples had a great time. Location near Pier Park was great for our NYE plans. The condo furnished nicely, kitchen with all the things you would need to cook any meal. Very comfortable balcony furniture and the additional down blankets made enjoying the view comfortable with the cool weather. Only reason check in and service not given 5 stars: No directions before check in on where to park, had to call office and requested early check in and did not get a call back. Other than that the condo and Southern Resorts was awesome.

Everything was so great from the reservationist to the maintance workers. The room was so spacious and nice. We loved the area and the food. We found a lot of the restaurants had a cajun flare to them. had great shopping around the area also.

I booked another rental at this location a month ahead. The original booking agent switched me to this unit without notifying me. Another staff person called to let me know one week prior. There was little done to compensate for the inconvenience or to earn our future business. As it was too late to start researching again, we stayed and prayed that it would be OK. To our delight, the condo was beautiful and our time was enjoyable if you count on listening to construction on one of the units. On Monday morning our alarm clock was at 7am with machinery buzzing relentlessly. I guess that is one way to make sure the guests check out in sufficient time. The unit rocks and is charming. A great stay from that perspective. However, the consideration of quests from the booking staff to the property management leaves a lot to desire.

We were very happy with the condo. It was very comfortable with a huge balcony we enjoyed every morning and evening. Easy access to the beach and ammenities were great. The check in procedure was a breeze. We were close to resturants and attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, very comfortable, ocean view... I was very impressed and so was my wife and kids. We had a great time at the pools and beach. The only negative was the $60 early check-in fee...that need to be be eliminated.

We had a wonderful time it was very very relaxing. We can't wait to come back. We did wish the beach service was included. We really like how the condo felt like home. Loved the keyless entry! Was not to fond of the garage.

My family and I were very pleased at the room we had booked online. We were so "at-home" there, that we definately will request this room again at our next beach vacation. The condo was very well decorated, and clean, it had all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay. As far as the resort goes, it was clean and in a great location. The only negative thing I can think of was the indoor pool wasn't very warm for this time of year. We look forward to booking another stay at Ocean Reef resort in unit #908!!! The Rays

I would have appreciated knowing our parking place when we received our key code. Also,you really might want to invest in some carts to help people with their personal belongings. We, as well as others, tied up the elevators with our bags. Even grocery carts or luggage carts would be appreciated. A phone book would have been nice too, in case we wanted to order in or call somewhere for hours. The laundry was nice and the scene from the balcony was spectacular!

The service we received while booking our vacation was wonderful. The staff of Southern Resort Rentals was very courteous and helpful in finding exactly what we needed to accomodate 6 adults. The property was beautiful. The home was very clean and well furnished. Definitely a home away from home. The location was great. We all 6 had a wonderful stay and will use Southern Resort Rentals again and again......thank you

I don't know if I can say enough about this place - we loved it! The unit was larger than it looks in the photos. The kitchen was fully stocked - we could've even baked muffins or a turkey if we had wanted! There was a drying rack in the laundry room - big help at the beach! The balcony was also larger than it looked in the photos and the balcony furniture even better than expected. All the furniture int he unit was comfortable; plenty of pillows and bed clothes were provided. Everything was clean - the unit, the pool, the walkways were kept clean. We loved having a code to punch in the door and not have to keep track of a key. We picked this place because of the location, being near many things to do, and as it turned out, it was in walking distance of many things. The only problems we had with the unit was one of the commodes didn't flush correctly, and the screens on the sliding doors didn't fit well - hard to slide without falling out. We've stayed at many places along the Gulf and on the east coast, and this was the best beach vacation we've ever had!

We had a great time and we got a good deal on the condo. The cleaning fee is a little pricey compared to other 2BR units at Ocean Reef $75, $90 etc compared to $140 that Southern Resorts charges. The unit was very nice and I would stay at Ocean Reef again. The cleaning fee would have to be negotiable to stay with Southern Resorts again. I only had one problem with the unit. The toilet in the master was flushing very slowly at check in on Friday and wasn't flushing at all on check out Sunday. I notified Southern Resorts on Sunday that there was a problem. You would think that for a $140 cleaning fee the housekeeper would have spotted this problem while cleaning the unit after that last person checked out.

Ocean Reef #908 was a clean,and beautifully decorated condo that had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Our only disappointment was the hot tub was out of order during our whole stay. The view from our balcony was fantastic. There are a couple of places to each side of the complex that are older and run down, so that took away just a bit from the atmosphere, but overall we would highly recommend Ocean Reef #908. Reasonable rates too!

The condo rental was extremely nice and clean. The only concerns I had were there were not trash bags available for the entire stay or toilet paper. The condo was to sleep 6 but not enough of either necessities. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.
