Ocean Reef #2309 - Panama City Beach, FL - 4 bedrooms - 3 baths

We had an awesome time staying at ocean reef! The room was awesome:)

The experience was fun for our family. Plenty of room and we loved the proximity to the beach. It was quiet and nice. The only negative was the constant cold showers as the water would get cold in the entire place in about five minutes of running hot water which was a little tough with 9 people. Overall we are very pleased with the preparation for our arrival and the comfort of the condo. We would stay there again if we returned as the call service and pre arrival prep was outstanding even with a last minute early check in.

Condo is spacious & nicely decorated. On the 23rd floor which is the highest. 4 bd 3 bath (1 bath is jack & jill). Beautiful views of the beach & the main strip. One bedroom does not have a view of either but has a window. My only real complaint it cleanliness. Bedpreads/comforters need to be replaced or washed. So does the cushions on the rattan chair in the living area. Which were once ivory but are now covered in stains (filthy).They may also want check into purchasing a new sofa. Its not filthy but very worn. A dvd player & stereo in the living area but no socket to connect them to & a lot of a jumbled wires. A simple surge protector would resolve that issue. So if you want to watch a movie/listen to the radio, won't happen unless you listen to a clock radio in one of the bedrooms. Which bring me to this, no auxilary connections anywhere. All in all it will be adequate for couples who dont mind sharing a bathroom & families, the views were amazing, nicely decorated, close to everything, kitchen was well equipped, condo is spacious, & the sheets themselves were clean. With a little more attention to detail on the simple things, this condo would be excellent.

Our only complaint is about the check in process. Too many people trying to get to their units at the same time, with only three elevators and one of them not functioning on 7/7. In fact, we were told by other people that the elevator had not been functioning for at least a couple of days, and was not back in service until Tuesday, 7/10. Another issue with the check in process is that there are no luggage carts, forcing people to make several trips with luggage, coolers, chairs, etc. It is our experience that all other condo buildings where we have stayed, in Virginia Beach, Myrtle Beach and Miami Beach, have luggage carts. Other than the check in frustration, we found the condo to be impeccably clean, well furnished, and very ample. As an observation, our family also rented Unit 2201 and we found that the kitchen in 2201 was much better stocked with pots, utensils etc, than the one in 2309. Overall, we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, clean and spacious condo.

Family loved the condominium. Issue of the elevators would occur at hotels with only two and is a direct result of having a large number of people checking in and out on the same day. Was not an issue during early morning hours for check out or later in the day for check in. The managing group was very responsive to concerns and remedied these issues quickly. Family enjoyed the stay very much and we did not have any major issues.

Had an enjoyable stay. Checking in was very easy with the keyless code. The condo was beautiful with plenty of rooms so that everyone had their own space. The location was great! We could easily walk to most everything and the kids enjoyed the amusement park across the road. Our favorite thing was the spacious balcony. We spent alot of time out there. The view was gorgeous and with it being in the corner we not only had the beach view but also the view of Panama City. The negative things were the parking, which was confusing considering that there are no signs to let you know where to park for what condo. Also, there is only one parking place allowed so if you have more than one vehicle you have to find parking elsewhere. They definitely need to do something about the parking garage. Its too small to make turns and you have to back up without being able to see the oncoming cars to exit. People were unloading/loading their vehicles in front of the elevators, because of the horrible parking space, blocking anyone from getting in or out. Otherthan the Parking Garage, the condo was beautiful and we had a wonderful time staying in Ocean Reef #2309!

We stayed here for Mother's Day weekend. It was the perfect location since my mother lives in Ga and all of her kids live in TN. She enjoyed being able to be surrounded by all of her adult children and their families and not have to worry about being cramped up in a hotel room. Since she doesn't eat out much she also enjoyed having her own kitchen to prepare food how she wanted it. The balcony view was great and the sunset was amazing. Access to the beach was a great plus and being able to fall asleep to the sound of the Gulf was a experience I will remember the rest of my life. Can't wait to get together with family again for an experience like this.

Couldn't get the wireless internet to work and cell recption was poor. Called for service and they sent someone out who also could not get it to work. The unit was very nice. The property has parking on the bottom five floors so the ground floor had no lobby and was very impersonal. Didn't make you want to hang by the pool.

The unit was immaculate and very spacious. The sunset views are spectacular! We went with our twin daughters that are in college and we all loved it. We had plenty of "Personal Space" available. Having the washer/dryer in the unit is a plus. We were very pleased with the rate that we got and would definitely stay here again as well as recommend it to family and friends. The beach is the most beautiful beach that I have ever seen in this country or in the islands. My wife lived in Hawaii for a period of time and said that this beach is even more beautiful than Hawaii's beaches. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and just relaxing.

The condo was very nice. The balcony view of the golf was wonderful, two mornings we saw Dolfins swimming (must bring binoculars). We wished the indoor pool was open, however the outdoor hot tub was great. Watch out for Jellyfish on the beach.

Overall, condo was beautiful and roomy with a great view. We had 4 couples staying there and didn't feel like we were on top of eachother. The balcony easily accomodated the 8 adults. Our main complaint was that the oven did not work, and several of us brought casseroles to bake. Big let-down there. Much wasted food. I was told that the front bedrooms had alot of light coming in when the sun came up. Probably need a curtain over the blinds. It was difficult getting to the overflow parking lot across the street, and another guest's trailer was stolen from there during our stay. Otherwise the facilities were great.

We were so thrilled to find a 4-bedroom condo so that our whole family could stay in the same unit. And the rental price for the unit was very reasonable. What a wonderful surprise to enter this beautifully decorated and well-maintained condo! Everyone in the family agrees that this should be our vacation destination in the future. Having said that, there were a few items that were less than perfect (although we don't really expect perfect in a rental condo). One is the toilet in the master bath, which sounds like a freight train whenever it is flushed. Aside from the noise, it was cause for concern because we kept expecting the pipes to burst. Another issue was that the kitchen was not very well supplied: no frying pan when we arrived (one fortunately was supplied by the gentleman who came to check on the master bath toilet); no hot pads to remove items from the oven. Because we are a large group, we cook almost every night on vacation, and I always bring numerous kitchen items that I don't expect to find in a rental condo. However I thought that a frying pad and oven pads would be standard. The third issue had to do with some insects in the condo, a few in two of the bathrooms and in the kitchen. Overall, however, we really loved this condo and hope to rent it again in the future.

We rented this condo memorial day weekend for a group of 4 couples. The pictures really didn't do the place any justice. The condo was gorgeous. The view was breathtaking and we had plenty of privacy. We ate breakfast on the balcony and just listened to the peaceful waves. Everything was awesome. I couldn't have asked for more and each of the couples talked about the trip for weeks afterwards. I definitely recommend this condo for couples trying to get away. Recommendation: If you're going on a couple's trip, assign the bedrooms before you get there because the two regular bedrooms are on the smaller side, but still worth it!

I would stay here over and over again. The condo was beautiful and we had plenty of room. We had 4 couples and it was great for everybody. I would tell anyone that was looking for a place to stay that this is the place. It was very affordable for a week stay. Thanks for a great time.

This lovely condo proved to be just right for my family's Thanksgiving at the beach. There was enough space for the nine of us to eat, sleep and have fun and the large balcony provided ample room for all of us to enjoy the gorgeous view. We also enjoyed the sauna, steam room, hot tub and heated pool. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. We plan to return next year.

This unit is funished with very nice stuff. There were 9 of us and we had plenty of room for everyone.

I cannot say enough about Ocean Reef #2309 condo. It was very clean & modern with a GREAT view. Each morning we sat on the balcony and watched the dolphins and seaturtles swim by! Even with (4) couples, we had ample room with the 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Southern Rentals allowed early check in which was great due to our short trip-almost like an extra day added! Quick drive to Pier Park to enjoy a margaritta at Margarritaville and a great lunch at Reggae J's. We will be visiting again. PS...great off-peak prices!

We really enjoyed our stay here...we come to the coast every year in August and this was the nicest place we have staying in the past three years...we will definetly be back!!

We stayed here in Aug 2009. The condo was very nice, even better than the photos. The balcony was excellent, and we enjoyed our evenings out there. There wasn't a wide selection of pots and pans, but plenty to get by. I guess if you were going to cook every meal you would need more. The only problem was that the tub in the masterbath drained very slow.

The condo was really nice for a large group. We had 3 families and it worked out really well with the 4 bedrooms and each family having their own bath. We were concerned about the 23rd floor but it was really nice and we never waited but just a a minute or two for an elevator. Had a great view of the ocean and down the west end of the beach. The oversized balcony was really nice! The only cons to this unit is they need better kitchen utensils. They have very few pots, pans, bowls, etc. We carried some items from home and had we not it would have made it difficult to cook in the condo. Also, they do not have carts to carry things to and from your car. This made it very hard to load and unload your car and carry groceries back and forth. The unit was nice and was in a very good location. I would recommended this condo to a large group of people.

I was very pleased with our condo. We had ten people in our group, and we were not crowded at all. Our condo was very clean and well furnished. The balcony was very roomy with plenty of furniture and had an awesome view. Everyone we met at the complex was very friendly. Our only complaint is that we were only left two wash cloths when we checked in. I called to get more and we were brought three more. I would suggest bringing your own wash cloths and some extra trash bags. Overall, I was very pleased with our stay here, and we will definetly stay here again.

GOOD PLACE TO STAY. THE MAIN COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THERE WAS NO LUGGAGE CARTS TO GET LUGGAGE TO ROOMS AND WHEN YOUR ON THE 23RD FLOOR THAT WAS VERY INCONVENIANT. WE ALSO COULD NOT GET THE WIRELESS INTERNET TO WORK. NICE CLEAN ROOM. NICE POOL. WASN'T VERY MANY PEOPLE AT CONDO WHEN WE WERE THERE, WHICH WAS GREAT. DESIGN OF PARKING DECK WAS A LITTLE AWKWARD. KITCHEN NEEDED TO BE BETTER STOCKED. JUST A FEW LITTLE NEGATIVE THINGS.

MY SPRING BREAK WITH MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WERE NICE WE ENJOYED THE BEACH,AND FAMILY FUN.WE HAD A GOOD TIME SHOPPING.THE CONDO WAS VERY NICE.THANX MRS.TRUDY@ SOUTHERN RESORTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
