Millenia Home in Destiny by the Sea in Destin

I stay at the millenia with my 7 sisters. No kids, no husbands. What a treat this was. The house is spectacular and the beach is amazing. I would recommend this house to anyone who really wants to treat themselves to a relaxing vacation right on the beach. It does not get much better than this.

The Millenia home was perfect for our big family. We had a couple of small issues, but Southern Vacation Rentals was responsive and our stay was wonderful. The house is very nice, beds are comfortable, house is clean, and it had everything we needed. The splash pool was great for the smaller kids, and the elevator was a definite plus for hauling luggage. We would recommend this home to anyone who wants a relaxing, care free vacation with amazing views on a beautiful private beach. Destiny by the Sea is a very nice area and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! Thank you for a great vacation with everlasting family memories!

Great house. Living room is small though. Baths and bedrooms are great. Location is terrific. It's very pricey to rent for a week during the summer. We enjoyed our stay and will rent again as long as we can afford it.

My family goes to Destin every year for vacation, this is by far the most beautiful home we have stayed in. Destiny By The Sea is a beautiful gated community for families that like the convenience of being right on the beach and close to all the amenities of a beach vacation. Southern Vacation Rentals went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had 16 people in our party and we were very comfortable in the house. This is a beautiful home and being right on the beach made it convenient for everyone. The location is excellent, it is close to all the malls and restaurants. Richard Lamar, and Maurie Satterfield, thank you for making our stay a good experience. I would recommend this home and community to friends and family.

For the most part we thought the place was great. It is a beautiful home. The smaller kids loved having the splash pool. Having the elevator was also a plus especially when hauling our luggage upstairs. I must add this even though it may sound silly this house has the most amazing comfortable sectional couch, we called it sleepy because no matter who in our party sat on that couch they would fall asleep(even in the mornings). In fact we are now looking to buy one for our home. Only two small issues we had: 1)The only reason I did not put five stars is because when the kids are in the pool splashing around the water would stay by the door getting everything wet (like the beach towels that would drag on the ground as the kids came in and the rug which we needed to wipe sand off our feet stayed soaked), and the tiles are coming off in the pool. 2)The surround sound we could not get it to work at all in the living room/kitchen which is nice when you want a little music. Note issues just something for future renters: The kitchen was lovely but a little small for our party because we spent time together cooking so it made it difficult at times but I wouldn't take a star off for that we just spend a lot of time in the kitchen so far us it was not as convenient. (Keyless entrys are much better then keys!They could have a system that text you the entry # at check in time.) Check In was a little annoying because we arrived at 3 to pick up the key and then we were going to go to the grocery before going to the house which we would not have been there until well after four anyway but they could not give us the key so we had to go to the grocery then go back and get the key (so that was a little inconvenient, so just go to the grocery 1st so you are not going back and fourth in all that traffic.

The house was lovely and the beach was wonderful. It made all the difference in the world being on a private beach. There were no crowds and our chairs were set up for us every day at 7:00. It was a wonderful stay and everyone at Southern Vacation Rentals was extremely helpful. We have used Southern Vacation Rentals for several years now and have never been disappointed with their service.

Great place for large group. Pool is a little small but works for kids

Just an fyi for your knowledge for future,had to by about 3 bags of ice a day, the ice maker did work, the freezer ice maker hardly made ice, we had to fill the propane tank it was empty, the house was not super clean when we arrived, still a lot of sand etc on floor, I know it is a big house and takes a lot but...also, the toilets in the second floor bathroom by the bunk room and the master upstairs had to be plunged a lot. The second floor over flowed toward the end. And the shower in the second floor master seem to leak down to the kitchen, we noticed this our last day as well. With that said we did enjoy the house, loved being on the beach etc. Look forward to coming back next year.

The pictures do not do this home justice! Every aspect of our stay at the Millenia was truly wonderful. The home is located directly on the beach (just being able to reach the beach in only a few steps was completely worth it and also to have your 'beach setup" with umbrella and chairs ready to go by 7 a.m. every morning was a great plus as well!). We have stayed at many nice places on vacation and I have to honestly say that this home is truly first class. It is extremely accomodating for multiple families and the furnishings are very nice. Well worth it and we can't wait to stay here again!

Home is beautiful and spacious. Small family/Great Room for the size of house but we loved the house just the same. Needed more towels and bath tissue for the length of stay. This house is great and Beautiful, the pictures on-line does not do it justice. Beautiful!!!
