Mediterranea 411D ~ Destin Florida Vacation Accommodation

My Wife and I visit Destin alot. We have stayed in many different hotels and condos in the Sandestin area. and 411D is the overall best. Georgeous Views, open floor plan, and comfortable living arrangements, make this a great vacation getaway. This condo can Easily accommodate up to 6 adults. And the value of the rental, will keep us coming back for years. Also, easy beach access, and a very clean pool meant alot of outdoor fun for us. And each room has its own relaxing balcony, with great views of the beach. The landcsaping here is lush and very well maintained. We cant wait to go back in aug 2012.

check-in was difficult (code did not work), but condo was nice, weather was even better! good vacation

This is a beautiful condo with all the amenities. Great pool and the beach is fantastic! Would definitely stay here again! We did have an issue with the entry gate# not working consistently and upon arrival had to call southern resorts to have a new entry# for the condo. They were quick to accomodate us. The beach was the best. The worst part was dealing with the gate entry.

the unit itself was wonderful, but had several little problems that need attention, which I listed and left on the kitchen counter, as well as emailed to you and the owner. The unit was comfortable and spacious enough for us and our 3 adult children plus one of their spouses. There was some concern about 3 other units whose guests were not allowed to use the facilities due to some problem with the owners. This caused quite a scene one of the days with a shouting match and foul language heard by all that were around. We also noticed that several units would put out towels at 7am to save their spots but didn't show up until noon to use them! 2 years ago, we were told this was not allowed and it is very unfortunate. It seemed that the grounds were less monitored and possibly having someone in management on the grounds every day would avert these things.

The unit was in a fantastic location with direct views of the gulf and easy access to the beach. The underground parking was nice and the secure gate was nice security for my family.

This condo was perfect for our family. This was our second stay at this particular condo. Location is within walking distance to several restaurants. We had a very small issue at time of arrival and the service guy was there within 1/2 hr!!

Our stay was very nice. The unit nice, great view. We own rental property in Charleston S.C. so I tried to compare. The kitchen was well equipped (would be great to have storage containers/rubbermaid). Tv's decent. porches were nice. If I were to be critical, I would say that washcloths were not available and towel quality could improve. Mounted hair dryers would be great and additional hangars would be nice. (we have the wood hangers that aren't removalble since they probably often disappear. We are required to have mounted hairdryers and ours have held up well). The unit furniture was very nice, ceiling fans awesome!! Much nicer than other unit we stayed in a few years ago at Edgewater. Grounds are lovely. Great to have a garage!!

Beautiful condo! Great location and even better value for this time of year. Will strongly consider at future reservation at this condo!

Everything was wonderful. We had the best time. The condo was the best we have ever stayed in. We come to the beach twice a year and this was the best trip yet.

Mediterranea #411D is an awesome place to stay. The Condo is extremly clean and very comfortable. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. Tv's in every room, close to the elevator, pool and beach. Very short walk to Pampano Joe's. Everyone slept great on bed.

We enjoyed our stay at Mediterranea. The unit was super nice. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The week we stayed in FL was appearantly just before the summer season started... the beach and resturants were not crowded at all. Only thing that we did not receive from southern resorts was the code for the access gate to the beach and pool area. The codo mantenance crew informed us of the code. Other than that the experience was great. We would recommend this to others and we will def. be back.

The condo was clean and well furnished and Southern Resorts called after our arrival to check on arrangements. This was our 1st time to the Destin area so I was not familiar with the location but it turned out great. Miramar is quieter than the center of Destin with great access to all the activities and water sports in Destin but out of the heavy traffic areas. From Miramar it is a short drive to all the new shopping areas and restaurants. Beach access requires a short walk across the street and the beach is below street level which was somewhat inconvenient if you are more accustomed to closer beach access. The condo was spacious and well furnished but starting to show some age and wear and tear.
