Mainsail 124 ~ Destin Florida Vacation Condo

A comfortable condo that is located on the beach with a convenient pool. Plenty of restaurants near by.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The view was very nice and the unit was in good condition. We did find the mattress in the Master to be too firm, but this was not a really big issue.

Mainsail has been our get away for years. This year young people drinking throwing beer cans off the balcony and the general state of the elevators/stairwells was well below normal (Dan would never have allowed that) When gate person on patrol just buzz and they let anybody in without talking to them. Condo ice machine doesn't work fixed and broke again same week.Great spot don"T let it fall into a state of no repair.Condo owner's kids (drinking noisy all night) need to remember who helps to supplement Mom and Dad's condo's (Snowbirds). Overall it is a great place but keep the standards up (where is Dan when you need him)

\We were very pleased with this condo. It was exactly as advertised. The location was fantastic, great views and easy access to the beach. A well appointed kitchen and very good beds helped to make for a great time. It is well located for shopping and other needs. Two very minor problems were dealt with in a very timely manner.

What we liked the best was the view and being able to see and hear the water from almost every room. The mirrors that they had in the place were placed so we could see the water every time we walked into the living room bedroom and kitchen. The service was excellent. We couldn't find one thing to complain about and we will return next year.

This unit was great! The beach service was a plus. We can't wait to return! The one thing that would have made our arrival easier would have been to have better directions to the unit itself. It is a large complex and it took about an hour to find our unit!

The tvs in the bedrooms were horrible . We called for service they never showed up.

From the very beginning of making my reservation, I received the best customer service from Kim Combs. I absolutely can not say enough about how very helpful and kind this lady was. My daughter was having a beach wedding and Kim provided some very helpful information. She is the absolute BEST! My accommodations were exactly what I had wanted and I had the most beautiful view of the Gulf! The property is well kept, clean, and so very close to 3 malls (one was right across the street!) and some of the best restaurants within a 10 minute drive. I've already recommended Southern Resorts to several friends and have assured them I'd be using this company again! Again, the customer service I received set the pace for a perfect vacation.

My family and I have been enjoying Mainsail since 1995. It's a wonderful place to stay and the location is perfect. We have experienced many condos at mainsail and found that this condo was one of our favorites. Beautiful decor, very clean and perfectly located in the complex.

The condo we stayed in was very nice, one of the nicest I've been in. Decorated beautiful, excellent view of ocean. Kitchen was stocked with every kind of pan, dish and utensil. Wet bar with filter water. The only problem was the TV in the second bedroom was not connected to cable. It sat on a large armoire so we couldn't move to see if there was a cable jack on the wall. I call Southern Resorts and was told a work order would be put in but no one ever came or called. We had two teenage girls so they wanted to watch TV at bedtime. Other than that it was great!

The view and location are great for the money. The condo had several upgrades including travertine floors, cultured marble shower in the master and a separate bar and ice machine. The rooms were spacious and the balcony sat 4 people comfortably. The view was fantastic and the beach was close with easy access. The location is directly across from the outlet mall with lots of shops and restaurants close by. The ice machine does work. It's a little slow to start and is a little noisy. I just used the muffin tins to make ice until the machine got going. The washer and dryer are Swedish and do take some time to figure out how they work. Some simple instructions taped to the front would have helped a lot. Overall we had a great trip and I would recommend staying here.

This was my sister first time and my first time staying in a condo. Just know my sister and I said that Mainsail was our accomadations from now on on. Thanks Southern Resorts!!!!

The service of Southern Resorts Vacation Rentals was very nice and informative. I received emails with what to do and when. When I needed to call S.R.V.R., the staff was well versed on the property. The property was very clean and felt as if we had not left home. With all of the amenities of the property, the experience was delightful. With a pool right next to the grills, I could grill and watch my children at the same time. The location of Mainsail is very convenient, shopping within walking distance, restaurants, etc. What I liked best and set the tone for my family's entire stay was the check in process. We drove up to a guarded gate and the guard checked to see if we were to be there. It as nice to be able allow my children to run to the beach or back to the room and know they were safe. I would recommend to anyone planning a vacation in Destin, stay in one of the Mainsail vacation homes with Southern Resorts Vacation Rental.

We absolutely loved our stay. We came back so relieved of our stress. Perfect condo, perfect beach, perfect weather - what more could we ask? The only recommendation for the owners is to replace the table and chairs on the balcony with a taller pub style so that you won't have to look at the ocean through the rails when you are sitting.
