Mainsail Cottage 29 ~ Rental Home Destin Florida

We really enjoy staying at Mainsail Cottage #29. It was convenient for us and close from everything. It was our 6th year renting from Southern Resorts and we really appreciate the services from all the staff. We like so much that house that we have reserved it for the year. The new living room set is just great, too much comfortable; in the evening, you just fall asleep on the couch. Staying in a house for few months, we had a chance to appreciate it, its location close from the Outlet and grocery store, and almost on the beach.

This was one of the best places we've ever stayed. Many amenities, great service by the management company, and beautiful surroundings.

Our cottage was perfect for a large group! We were a group of 10, and we had plenty of room. The cottage and property were both beautiful, and the walk to the beach was not bad at all. My complaints are that we were not supplied with enough toiletries and without any laundry detergent. I didn't mind purchasing these things, but i did mind that when i began preparing meals I realized there were no large pots and i had to purchase that also. We did have maintenance problems during our stay also. Our dryer completely quit drying and it took over a day for a repairman to even come check on us. With our large groups we had ran out of towels, and it took around 4 hours and several phone calls to get more towels brought in. I would still recommend this cottage, but hope in the future all the amenities will be working correctly!

Celing Fan on top floor is ready to fall. Motor in tub does not work and the owner needed to give permission to install a new one. This should have been checked ahead of time and not advertised if not in working condition. Door to second floor balcony is hard to close--had to slam to get shut. Get these things fixed and this cottage is great.

This is a very nice rental. We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach and the closeness to the pool area. We would book again!

Mainsail is a very nice complex. Although it is a good walk to the beach from this unit the complex is very clean and has easy access. The pools and courts are very nice, this unit is very close to one of the pools. The house is a good size for large family or groups although an extra bathroom would be great. The bunk room on the third floor has to come to the first floor for the bathroom. The decor of the house is a little dated and we had some trouble with Tv's. Overall I would recomend this property for its value and location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay t Mainsail. We rented Mainsail cottage #29. It was clean and very comfortable with great space. Mainsail is beautiful with beautiful landscaping. The hot tub and heated swimming pool is great for spring break. The beach is beautiful and the security guards do a great job. Only one complaint. The refrigator never worked good. The ice maker did not work and when we placed purchased ice in the freezer, it would melt all over the floor. We called for maintenance and they said that there was nothing wrong. This is the second year that we rented this cottage. I wish that you could make sure the frig and freezer were working for next spring break. If you don't turn it on until it is rented, please turn the frig on before the Thursday through Sunday that we rent it.

Everthing was clean and nicely furnished. It is was a wonderful home away from home for the week. It was very peaceful and just what we needed for a quiet family vaction. We would definately rent it again.

I rented this house along with several of my girlfriends for "girls trip" and this house was perfect. The location is great, right across from the outlet malls and you can walk to the beach. I can see how this house would also be great for a family or 2 traveling together, with the bunk room on the top floor. One negative was the patio furniture. Couldn't really enjoy the patios because furniture was in such bad condition.

The cottage was very spacious. The kids bunk room was an excellent size! The beach houses we have stayed in before have had very cramped up bunk rooms (barely enough room to walk), however this was not the case with this cottage. It is an excellent space for pre-teens & teens. Very close to to the pool and pavillion in the back which was very nice and convenient. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only complaint I have is the day we arrived the check in time was at 4pm, however the cottage wasn't ready until 5pm. Very clean and had a nice layout. We would stay here again!

Very nice place. It is in a central location to all of Destin. Mainsail has a very good setup and is well maintained. The beach just can't be beat. A short walk, easy access. Loved the stay!!
