La Ti Da ~ Crystal Beach Vacation Home Rental in Destin Florida

The location of this house was awesome. It was in walking distance to a church which had a playground. It was in walking distance to the beach. And the house was not on a main road, so traffic was not an issue for us. The house could of used some TLC but it did not ruin the vacation. We would go back.

The service from Southern was great - the few problems we had were addressed in a timely manner and mostly to our satisfaction. The home itself is really well laid out, close to the ocean, restaurents, shopping, etc., yet with a feel of a small beach community. Probably the biggest drawback was the lack of appropriate furniture for the number of people it was to hold, inside the house and out i.e. no dresser or chair in the master bedroom. Pool furniture was not in good shape nor was that in the top story. But, with that being said, it was still a great place to stay and we look forward to next year.

This vacation was spent with our family and my husband's sisters and their families. There were 12 of us in all- 6 adults and 6 children ranging in age from 4-12 years of age. The first thing that caught our attention when we arrived, was the location of the house in proximity to the beach. Even with our loads of junk, it was still an easy walk down to the beach every day. The house was very spacious. We never felt cramped and both the adults and the children could be having fun with different activities without having to compete for space. We had to call Southern Resorts a few times for little things (pool light was out, no lounge chairs around pool, kids locked themselves out of the cabana house, dryer made loud noises when running) and the maintenence men were prompt in coming to fix the issues. They were friendly and even offered suggestions of where to go in Destin for fun activities. We loved this experience and are looking forward to returning to Destin each year and booking with Southern Resorts for a hassle-free vacation!

On behalf of the family, I want to Thank You for a wonderful experience/get away. The house enough space for everyone, 14 people. The Kitchen had everything we needed, we are a family that loves to cook. The grill was an added bonus. I would recommend this property to friends, as well as, would stay again in the near future if available.

This home was absolutely ideal! Only a short walk to the beach and within minutes of many fabulous restaurants. The home was very clean, spacious, and inviting to our large family! Keyless entry to the house just completed the package thanks to no hassles with lost or misplaced keys. For the location, the price can't be beat.

everything was great, as usual. the only problem we had was that the grass was not cut before we arrived. It took two days after we had called and asked for someone to take care of it. this was our fourth year in a row staying at la ti da, and we will be back next year.

Our stay was so lovely. Everybody had plenty of room to breath. Just a walk away to the beach. We had a wonderful time. Would love to stay her again. We had some little ones but we bought a gate to rope of the stairway.

We spent a week at La Ti Da in Destin, FL and had a wonderful time...it was a combined family vacation so we had 4 families with a combined total of 6 children. The beach house was absolutely perfect...it was within walking distance of the beach, had it's own pool (kids spent a lot of time at the beach and pool) and was within close proximity to a lot of shopping and fun activities for the kids. We all wish we had booked it for 2 weeks instead of only 1. The weather was wonderful most of the time we were there so we spent most of out time outside, but on the one day it was rainy, we went split up and took in the various shopping and tourist events (aquarium in Fort Walton). There were so many things to do, but we most enjoyed relaxing at the beach and pool. We would definitely recommend it to others - it was a great retreat and had enough king beds to accommodate 3 couples and the cabanna was a great perk for the couple that didn't have a king bedroom. The kids really enjoyed sharing a bedroom together. My 3 yr old cried when we left and still says to us at least once a month "can we go back to FL tomorrow?" That has to be a sign of a great family vacation - none of us wanted to come home and all still wish we were there again.
