Islander Beach Resort 4005 ~ Vacation Condo at Fort Walton Beach Florida

The condo was clean and everything was great! We truly loved it and our two young kids had a great time! If we come back next year we will try and stay in the exact same condo! We only wish there would have been more towels and a couple of throw rugs on the tile. The tile gets a little cold when stepping out of shower. Also, there was a phone number on the refrigerator that said you need to call and check out and if you check out before 7am you were entered into a drawing for a free stay. Our flight left Ft. Walton at 630am so we were out very early, but I couldn't get the checkout phone number to work. Overall stay was great and we enjoyed it very much!

The service is always good, the condo is comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, nice ceramic floors, easy to maintain.. The location is ideal,overlooking the Gulf.. The TVs and audio system are a bit old and need to be upgraded.. Bedspreads should be replaced..We look forward to our stay in 2012..

Location and condition were excellent. Had 4 adults and two grandchildren. Have no complaints, would come again to the same unit if available

Enjoyed our 2 1/2 month stay; any concerns were quickly addressed. Looking foreward to our return in 2012, and the improvements made by the Owners who were arriving in april/11 to do some upgrades...

Place was clean and sufficiently furnished; however, there was only one dish towel for the kitchen and only one disposable dishcloth. I would recommend a scrub brush, a few more dish towels and some dish rags. There were no area rugs on the tile floors to absorb sound and the walls were paper thin, leaving the place quite loud. Otherwise, the place was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

We were very satisified with our condo 4005. I loved the no key entry...just code. I loved it being on the beach. I loved the pool and access to beach. What I was disappointed in was that the "free" chairs and umbrellas on the beach were not included in our 4005 condo. I guess if I had a choice of the next door unit with the chairs and umbrella on the beach I would have chosen that one and saved some money. I appreciate the perk offer of Emeral Coast money on your web site. We enjoyed and spent our $200 money card in Okaloosa County.

My husband and I just needed a short get away from all the cares of life. We found this at the Islander Beach Resort. Every aspect of our experience was wonderful. From booking the room, check-in to check out was pain free! Our room was over and above what I expected. Extremely clean rooms, with enough room for a lot of people, a great balcony to view the beautiful sun rise and sun sets. The beach was almost deserted, and was beautiful. We found that the location was great. Just a short drive to everything, but far enough away to be peaceful. I would definately stay here again, and I am looking forward to booking our next vacation at the Islander.

My sister and I were looking for a place on the gulf to relax with our kids. Growing up an hour North of Pensacola, FL, the gulf has always been our choice of beach. You just cant beat the beaches! Southern Resorts helped us find just what we needed. The Islander is a perfect spot to take a vacation. Check in, as well as check out, was so easy. The 2 bedroom condo fit 6 of us fine. The view of the gulf from our 4th floor was incredible!!! We looked right down to the beautiful pool from our balcony. We will definately check in with Southern Resorts again next year. The website makes finding the right spot a breeze!

This condo was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. It is convenient to everything on Hwy 98 and we never had trouble finding a parking space. The view from the balconey is amazing. Even though the Islander Beach Resort is a little older Unit #4005 has been recently remodeled and everything was in working order. The bathrooms are a little small as were the closets but this was not a big problem. My only problem the whole stay was trying to get the wireless network to work. I spent about an hour on the phone with the cable company but finally got the problem resolved. I would definitely request this unit again!!!

My family and I stayed here in January. It was a wonderful experience. The staff at the resort was great and very helpful. The room was gorgeous and everything it was supposed to be. The greatest thing about the trip was the view from the private balcony. It was magnificent! I would recommend this resort to anyone and we will definitely stay here agsin soon.
