Grand Caribbean West is a great property with security gates at all entrances to keep locals from using the facilities. It is located about a 1/4 mile from the Beach on a street behind the Beachfront High Rise Developments. Only a few Units have a view of the Gulf. This particular Unit does have a Gulf View. The Unit was very clean and the Kitchen although Small had a Full Size Refrigerator and Stove and had a large supply of Untensils. This is a Wonderful Island with a National Seashore right next to the property and just over the Bridge about a mile away there are several grocery and fast food options. Pensacola is about 10 Miles to the East and Gulf Shores about 12 Miles to the West. For the value minded family vacation this is about as good as it gets. My Grandson loved it and all the surrounding attractions, especially the Naval air Museum located about 8-Miles away.

We had a great time! We have a 3 & 5 year old & they were in heaven with the bunk beds! The room was clean & we have plenty of room! The resort has a great kid friendly pool & easy access to the beach! The kitchen was well stocked with lots of dishes and utencils! The kids also loved putting in the code for the beach gate! We were there Memorial Day weekend with lots of partying beach goers & never had any problems with noise. We will definalty keep this property in mind for our next trip! For the price I was really suprised at how nice the resort was! The location also offered several eating options every night!
