Frangista ~ Destin Florida Vacation Home Rental

The house is in a great location and central to shopping, groceries, restaurants, coffee, etc. It is a short walk to a private beach that we found to be very relaxing with little traffic. Having a chair and umbrella set up per day was also nice. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans and dishes. The house had plenty of space for a large family (we had 13) and everyone had their own space to go when they needed a break from the large group. The house does need some minimal maintenance: faucets in showers and tubes, dishwasher, bar chairs (2/3 were broken). We had to ask for extra towels as there where not enough when we arrived. We didn't receive them until the evening on the following day. It would be nice if toilet paper, paper towels,and dish washing detergent were part of the rental.

It was nice having a bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen upstairs was a little difficult for bringing in groceries, etc. The dishwasher did not work well so we just had to use a lot of paper plates. The driveway was too small to move the trash to the road. We would have had to move the 3 vehicles out into the busy street to get the trash out so we had lots of trash by the end of the week. The distance to the beach was not bad but it would have certainly been nice to have a view. There was no view of the beach. All in all, a good place for the price.

The home was very nice with plenty of room. We enjoyed cooking breakfrast and lunch at the house and going out at night. The beach was close walking distance and we had great weather. Our information said we would have 2 chairs and an umbrella available for the beach . We found out from the suppliers that our house did not provide this accomidation. The pool was nice after the beach time except the whirlpool did not work. The balcony was nice and the rooms were nice. Plenty of bathrooms. Two bathrooms had a whirl pool but one did not work. Plenty of televisions.

The house was beautiful, very clean. The house was stock with anything you would need to prepare a meal for a large family. The bedroom with the two sets of bunkbeds was perfect for the younger kids and each bedroom having its own bath was perfect. Location to the beach and access to the beach were great.

We loved that every bedroom had it's own bathroom. There was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the home. Great location. Convenient to everything we had planned. I would however like to see a few more home items included such as dish washing detergent and trash bags. We are a family that loves to cook and with that comes trash and dirty dishes.

Frangista is a beautiful house. It is very spacious and decorated very nice. Great location. The private beach was awesome. You could see the public beaches further down and they were very crowded. I would have liked a better view but that's hard to get in Florida. I would highly recommend this house.

Frangista is a beautiful and spacious home for one or two families to enjoy in a quiet area of Miramar Beach. The beach was just a short walk around the corner. The upstairs balcony presented a peek of the Gulf. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, and beautiful vacation spot...choose the Frangista! The only thing that would make this home better is to be ocean front.

Our first family vacation to Destin went great. Large 4 bedroom house. Well appointed, high quality home. (I am a home builder). Had one minor issue with the house that was handled in one hour. Beach across the street. Bad Ass Coffee one block away. Huge balcony for grilling and relaxing. When we return to the Destin area we will make the Frangista our home again. Awesome...........

House was nice, well maintained. Good floor plan, easy beach access. Only drawbacks we were, no convenient place to wash beach equipment for ride home (water hose) and the entertainment equipment in living room was lacking to say the least. We had to move DVD player from bedroom to living room because the one in living room was broken. TV sat too low to see without completely rearranging living room furniture.
