Emerald Isle 802 ~ Pensacola Beach Rental Condo

Would highly recommend staying here. I would stay here again. The second bedroom has twin beds and no view, so it was not ideal for another couple but it would be great for children. This is very quiet and private, security codes for everything. It was great having a washer/dryer in the condo.(The previous tenant melted lipstick in the dryer so it ruined many of our clothes, but it should be ok now since it is all over our clothes.)It was great to relax in the hot tub everyday after playing golf.

Stayed here for the DeLuna Festival Weekend. It was only a few minute walk to the pier. Balcony view, pool, beach access were all fantastic. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again, even for just a weekend getaway.

We stayed her this past weekend for DeLuna Fest...it was perfect for what we were looking for. It was within walking distance of the festival, beach access, 2 very nice pools, a hot tub, and within walking distance to shops, restaraunts, and bars. The kitchen had working appliances and limited dishes (which was fine, we only cooked once). We had 6 people and the condo was perfect for that. Fully equipped with a washer and dryer (bring your own detergent). There is an amazing view of the beautiful waters from the room and balcony. The decor was fine by us, we didn't use the internet or phone and I do actually recommend bringing some swiffer pads or something because the sand does get all over the floors and doesn't sweep up easily. Some of the folks that stayed with us said the couch bed was really comfy. I do recommend that you put your early risers or hard sleepers in the living room because the sun reflecting off of the water is blinding at about 6am. The front bedroom is dark and allows for sleeping in! The beds were comfortable to me! I'd certainly stay here again! The main complaint we heard was that you had to wait forever for the elevators and the doors were locked to the stairs so people were waiting about 10 minutes to use the elevator to go up one floor.

Customer service was wonderful. The staff was very nice and responded quickly to all requests. Room was pretty clean whan arriving. View was beautiful of the ocean. We stayed in 802. The setup was very nice. Definately coming back again.

Loved our stay and looking forward to returning next year. Condo was spacious and very clean. Great views and easy access to everything we needed. Only complaint was that the internet and phones did not work, but hey, its a vacation to get away. Entire family loved it and the Southern Vacation rental office was wonderful.

It was great to walk right out on to the beach, or sit on the balcony and look over the pool and see the great view of the beach. Needs a little TLC, though. There were no lamps in the living room, so we either had to sit in the dark or sit with all the fan lights on. Also needed some door mats to wipe the sand off our feet. We were constantly sweeping sand out of the condo. Had I known, I could have brought some with me. Take your own skillets! These have seen better days! I would definitely go back, though. The teens could walk to anything they wanted to do. The location and views are worth it!

Beautiful view, I could be in the condo & see the kids at the pool & ocean. The balcony was large enough for all 4 of us to be on it without being crowded.

We enjoyed our brief stay and the accomodations were fine.

Southern Resorts is a great service! My family and I were without utilities after the recent tornadoes in alabama and decided to get away for a few days while they were repaired. It was late Thursday afternoon when we decided to pack up and use the last of our gas to drive south where we stopped a restaurant with WiFi. I pulled up Southern Resorts site and found a great property on Pensacola Beach within minutes. I made a call and the friendly staff made my arrangements fast and easy. The key was ready for pick up and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. As for the property, it was great! Very clean, beautiful view, and well maintained. I would have liked a few things different. The wireless hub for the unit wouldn't stay connected, I had to stay hardwired to the wall, the cutlery was dull and falling apart, and the left side of the toaster didn't work. However, all of these things are only minor inconveniences. I was very pleased with the stay. Thank you.

Unit 802 has great views but needs new blender in kitchen...both leaked and are unuseable. Sand was discovered in sheets of the twin bed on our first night...not acceptable. Otherwise the complex and unit was good. Also a unit that is advertised to sleep six should also have a dining table to seat six for meals...

In the small bathroom, when you fushed the toilet, the handle came off in your hand. Also, the shower handle came off when you turned it on or off.

Location was wonderful, great beach views and easy walking distance to restaurants, etc. Condo was comfortable and clean but not quite as well decorated or supplied as some others I have stayed in. Overall, it was a very nice experience and I would recommend it.

This was our first trip to Pensacola Beach. Wow! about covers it. The views from the condo were fantastic. The beds were very comfortable, we loved being able to see the view from the master bedroom. Checkin/out was easy. Lots of resturants within walking distance. We never got in the car after we arrived. Intend to enjoy this area again.

My experience with the condo was very good. I enjoyed the workout room, pool, and sauna. The room was beautifuly decorated with a wonderful view of the Gulf. There were several great stores, resteraunts and activies to do within walking distance. It being gated was also a plus.

The only issues we had was the floors were not cleaned well.Under all the living room furniture there was alot of sand & hair. We swept when we arrived & several times during the stay.The other issue we faced were people in other units smoking. Didn't think that was allowed. Other than those two things we had a great stay.
