Emerald Dolphin 1530 ~ Pensacola Beach Florida Condo

This was the most beautiful unit. The view was the best! Everything we needed was stocked in our unit or within walking distance. I will be back next year for sure.

I am writing this review as I sit here on the belcony ,at the rental unit with a great view of the gulf of mexico.From the molment we stepped inside we were in awww. This rental unit is amazing its on the 15th floor. It is the best place we have ever stayed.Everything & anything you could possible need they provide. Right down to the small bottle of dish soap & a small container of laundry detergent. I have to say they thought of everything!!! I came down with my spouse, 22yr old son,his girlfriend, and a college friend of his. There was more than enough room for all of us. This is our 4th visit to santa rosa island, This is our 1st stay here. And after this visit this will be the only place we stay. I will be booking next years stay @ emerald dolphin room 1530. Thank you again for making this stay our Best stay yet.

Location was great. Accomdations were the best.However everyone knows the first thing you check is the bedsheets you will be sleeping on. Unfotrunatley our sheets were dirty and mattress pad sheet was stained with blood stains. When I tried to remedy situation with customer service, was told that nothing could be done except for me to wash sheet pad myself.Was told upon checkout that sheet could have been exchanged. Other than that pretty gross stain everything was fantastic. Will definetly look foward to staying there once again.

Beautiful view, super clean, everything you might need. We had a great time. Walk to the best resturant (100 yrds), conv store next store, beach right there. Nice.

I appreciate the owners of Emerald Dolphin #1530 for sharing their home. It was spacious and tastefully decorated. Plenty of amenities were provided for the first few days of our stay until we could go grocery shopping. The view was amazing and we only had a short walk across the road to go to the beach. With the master and the sleeper sofa next to the balcony, we were all able to sleep to the sounds of the ocean. It's also next to Peg Leg Pete's Oyster Bar for a quick bite. We swam in the pool and relaxed in the hot tub one day, but the rest of time was spent in the ocean. I will definitely consider this condo when I visit Pensacola again!

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. You had to take a little walk across the street to get to the beach. The pool and hot tub was nice and gated for the guests of that condo unit only. It was in a great location within walking distance to Peg Leg Pete's a fabulous restuarant and hangout.

Always like working wtih Southern Resorts. We really liked this property and it's locations. Hope to be back next year.

My son came in from deployment for some r & r and the family wanted to do something special for him and he loves the beach ..So we decided to spend a week out there..he really enjoyed his self...and the ladies that checked us in were very nice and friendly...thank you

overall very nice, lovely view, kitchen very well equipped with pots/pans/dishes. very convenient to beach but far enough away from the "strip" area that road was less travelled, good location. The Rental company were very helpful with a last minute switch of unit to find us one with no stairs due to family members disability. (This one has no stairs)

Great view of the gulf with beach access. Plenty of room.

It was an awesome place to stay! Everything was clean,comfortable and the view was great. Very spacious and homey enviorment. Check-in was easy, since we came after hours all we had to do was get our packet out of the lock box and we were set. Check out was just as easy all we had to do was drop the packet back off, and the normal stuff like take out the trash and such. The place was nice and comfortable, it was a lot bigger than what we were expecting so we had plenty of room. I will most certainly be coming back!

It was the best Thanksgiving vacation we have had in 26 years. My wife and I loved the location and the Emerald Dolphin #1530. We will come back again

When I first entered the condo I was very impressed. The pictures do not do this place justice. It's very large. In fact, there is a third room that could function as a bedroom with a pullout bed and tv. Also the view is amazing. Both the master bedroom and living area have picturesque views of the ocean. Wow, I've never stayed that high (15th floor) on the beach. The view, the view, the view is unbelievable. The place had everything-flat screen tv's at every turn, every kitchen utensil you could possibly need, and did already I mention the view? However, you do have to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, and detergent. There's a Super Wal-mart in Gulf Breeze (a 15-20 min drive). That's where we bought all of our supplies. The savings make it worth the drive. The one complaint (everyone has at least one)-The master bed; the mattress was cheap and squeaky. If you want to keep bedroom activities behind closed doors-you can forget it with this squeak machine. Otherwise, I thought #1530 met luxury standards and was economical. I searched all of the deals in the area and the price was unbeatable. One final word: I was apprehensive about renting a condo online having heard sordid tales about dummy companies. If you have concerns as I did rest assured Southern Resorts is a reputable company and there office is located approx 2 miles from the condo.

Didn't know I had to go somewere ekse to get the keys. The gate code we were given was different from the code that I got from the office on the 4th floor. We had trouble getting the gate open wasn't doing the code fast enough. the parking numer in the book in the room also was different it had # 50 and we were given # 51 a lot of the time both 50 & 51 were taken so we parked in the handicapped out side.

We loved our condo at the Emerald Dolphin. Everything was so clean and has so many things I did not expect (ie blowdryer). It was close to everything, but not so close to keep you awake at night. You can sleep with the balcony doors open! The pool was clean and well maintained. The security and parking was top notch. The only recommendation for the unit is to have more comfortable balcony furniture. The staff at Southern Resorts was great! I paid a very low rate. It only took 5 minutes to check in and 5 seconds to check out! When we had trouble connecting to the Wifi you guys came right over. Loved it! We will be calling you again! We really loved the beautiful condo. Everything was just perfect. The view was fantastic from the 15th floor. We would definitely stay there again.

I have been using Southern Resorts for many years, and this is a premiere property if you enjoy highrise beach living. The condo was beautifully appointed and immaculate; very speacious and breathtaking views from the very large balcony! Very convenient to also have high speed internet access. It is walking distance from restaurants, and conveneient to everything on the island and Gulf Breeze. We opted to stay an additional night, and Southern Resorts was very accomodating. Favorite aspects: Location, Condo Decor, Kitchen and Bathrooms, Gulf View, Cleanliness Least Favorite: Master Bed needs replacing (not comfortable); Even though right across the street from the beach, the beach access was a bit of a hike, expecially with a cooler, chairs, etc.; Pool floor was very rough

The condo was very open and clean. Not alot of cludder. With kids really enjoyed the laundry room. Great view of the ocean from the patio. I would stay there again.

My husband and I vacation every year and this year decided to find something in Pensacola. by browsing the internet, i found Emerald Dolphin 1530. I didnt' know what to expect upon arriving, because pictures on the internet never do justice. I was pleasantly pleased and would highly recommend this. the location, the amenities, were all above my expectations! As a matter of fact, I plan on trying to secure this location for a longer length of time next year. Everything that I could possibly need or want was accessible. My kids loved the resort. I was comfortable knowing and seeing security at all times. The only thing I disliked would be my length of stay. Thanks so much for such a quality vacation!!!!

The condo at Emerald Dolphin was just awesome!!! I had book a 3 night stay at the last min and was really not expecting to find anything available, I thought maybe all the "good condo's would be taken. My son surprised me with a short military leave!!! Of course, off we go to Pensacola Beach with family and friends. The assocaites at Southern Resorts could not have been nicer. Very professional and helpful. Our condo # 1530 lacked nothing!! I truly mean nothing!! Perfect location, extremely clean and well maintained. I could not believe the furnishing's. Honestly where else could you rent a condo that has flat screen t.v.'s in every room? I could go on and on about our stay and the condo, but I will stop!!! Thanks to everyone for making my visit with my son and his friends great.Our visits are far and few between, because of being in the military, this was by far the best of the best vaation. The condo had very nice furnishings and details, completely above what i expected. The staff at the local office was very nice and appreciative of our patronage. The view was absolutely amazing from the 15th floor. My one and only complaint is that the building was having issues with the fire alarm system and it kept going off while we were staying. The worst was at 3am in the morning and the system is VERY VERY loud! overall though i couldnt have gotten a better place for the $$ it was pretty much a steal!

Me and Four of my girlfriends stayed here and it was really great. The condo was nice, the pool was great, it was in a good location, close to everything. The only complaints that I have are that the floors in the condo were not clean. You could not walk around barefoot in the condo and not feel like your feet had been tarred black after a few walks. The cleaning service needs to pay more attention to that because most people staying at a condo in the summer want to run around barefoot. We had to wear socks the entire time. The only other thing was that this is keyed property therefore when we got ready to check out we had no instructions as to where to leave the keys. We checked out on a Sunday so the office in the building was not open, I had to leave the keys and hide them and then call to let someone know where they were. I did not feel at all comfortable doing that. Other than that, it was great, view was divine, Condo is nice size with good size balcony. I would stay there again but would discuss the issues first before I did.

Everything was great, clean and confortable. It was a wonderful vacation for my kids and the whole family. We would like to return very soon.
