We really enjoyed our stay in #621. My husband,our 23 year old daughter and myself found it very relaxing. Our only complaint is that we had no ice maker or ice trays in our refrigerator freezer. Other than that is was a very nice and comfortable place to be.

It was a nice place to stay, although not on the beach it still had a good view. It is set up as an efficiency and was great for two people.

The room is small, but was just fine for a couple of days--would be exellent for 2 people. It is an old building, but was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. The grounds were well-kept. I have been going to Ft Walton Beach for vacations for the past 26 years and the beach area behind El Matador is the most beautiful that I have seen! We will stay here again.

Great price for the location. Has a distant view of the beach, but the pool is right next to the building. Small but clean. If your not looking for luxury accommodations, this unit is a great choice. Nice kitchen. The TV is kind of small too.

Have been renting at El Matador for more than 20 years. First time with just the two of us. The efficency was just right for us. Will return again.

When we first got there, it was after hours and was hard to find our place. I remember thinking "this is kinda shady, I hope we didn't get screwed". When we arrived finally, all this melted away. The guys at the gate were awesome and helped us through to find what we needed. The condo was perfect. So cute and clean. Loved the decorations, almost like a little NY city apartment. Stocked Very well for kitchen and cleaning stuff. I LOVED the keypad instead of having to use a key. It's small, and really only big enough for 2-3 people, but it was perfect for the two of us, with our getaway from the real world. Beach was fabulous! Pearly white sand with crystal clear water. My only real negatives was that our view was sub-par. The beach was beautiful, but the chain link fence and maintenance equipment took away from the serenity. During the middle of the day, we'd hear the maintenance crew sawing, or pounding, or doing whatever they do. It would never be for long though.

The service from the girls at the front desk were great! They explained in detail how to get to our condo. I liked the home, it was just the right size for a small family. It was very cozy! The location was great b/c you are right down the road from a lot of good eating places and shops. We did travel to Destin a few times, but that wasn't bad at all. The best thing I liked was that it was so close to the beach, the pool was very convienent, and the view was amazing. The thing I liked least was there was no washer and dryer in our condo. I like going places where there is one in our room. It just makes it that more convienent. If not, you have to wait on other people sometimes for hours w/ their clothes. Other than that, I thought our trip was awesome! Very nice to get away and stay somewhere nice and where you can feel safe! Thanks again!
