We stayed at Dophin's Retreat... very clean - nice house. Short walk to the beach - close enough to everything... I would highly recommend Southern Resorts and Dophin's Retreat... Thank you very much - Paula Turner

Since we cannot climb stairs, a one story home is a must and very hard to find. Dolphin's Retreat is nicely furnished and quiet . We liked the pools and the location also.

My entire group enjoyed the whole experience. The facility was excellent. Did have a little trouble finding our place but customer service was great. Definitely plan on returning next summer! Only other comments I have is that there were quite a bit of ants in the kitchen plus the beach rental chairs seemed expensive but maybe it's the norm.

The house we stayed at was exceptionally clean. We had no problems whatsoever. We enjoyed a much needed fun, beautiful vacation. We definitely would refer anyone to Southern Resorts Vacation Rentals. They made it very easy for us to obtain our keys because we arrived after hours. Thank you!

Our vacation to Destin, Fl was the best vacation we have had. Even better than Hawaii! We went with another family, so we had 4 kids under the age of 6. The beach was very family-friendly. We loved being surrounded by mostly young families. We met so many different people from all over the South. The home we stayed in, Dolphin's Retreat, was close to everything. The home was very clean when we arrived on Monday morning. Only thing we had to do before heading to the beach, was do some "kid-proofing". The kitchen was well stocked with the everything you would need to cook any meal. We did realize the first morning there was no whisk or pot holders and before we knew it there was a knock at the door from a lady from your company with whisk and pot holders in hand. The rooms were very "roomy" with plenty of storage for the many thing we had brought with us. Also, we loved that we were basically the only ones on the block with an outdoor shower, which was a lifesaver for us. All in all, it was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had and it mostly due in part to Southern Resorts Rentals. We defintely will be booking our stay next summer with you guys. We would love to be able to stay in Dolphin's Retreat again next year, but we found out during our stay this summer that we are expecting another "future Destin visitor" in February. We have stayed there previously and still enjoy it. There were some small bugs in the kitchen at times, but we didn't let it bother us. We should have called but didn't think it was a big deal. I have given the information to a person at work and they possibly will be calling for a stay. The funny think was I was washing the bathroom towels and realized with 2 days left that there were extra ones in the master bathroom. We always enjoy going.

My family went to Destin for the wedding of our son. The house was beautiful, well equipped, had everything we needed. The beach was gorgeous, a perfect background for the wedding. As 20+ years vacationers on the Outer Banks, I am reconsidering our beach destination for next year. Everything was perfect.

We stayed in the Dolphin's Retreat in 2004 for daughter graduation present from high school. She graduated in May of 2008 and for her graduation present she wanted to stay at the Dolphin's Retreat again.

This is a great place to stay w all the accomodations of home. The only problem we had was an ant infestation in the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. Other than that it was wonderful!

First time in Destin area and the location of this house was ideal. A short walk to the beach, and the pool was right around the corner. The house was very clean and well equipped. Having access to a washer/dryer in the home was a plus. It was a pleasant surprise to actually walk in to exactly what had been reflected in the pictures online. We had an enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again.
