Crystal Villas 9B ~ Destin Florida Beachfront Rental

Pictures don't do this condo justice, it was truly beautifully decorated and the furniture oh so very comfortable. A perfect location to enjoy the beach as you didn't feel as if you are elbow to elbow.

This is a wonderful condo for two or a couple with two kids. Very spacious with two bathrooms & washer\dryer. Cute bunkbeds in hallway nook. Beautiful view of beach and ocean. Nice balcony with chairs and table. Spacious living area with open kitchen that is very well stocked. This location is close to shopping, Wal-mart, Publix Grocery, & Wal-greens. The beach area in front of condo is private with chairs and umbrellas available. This is great, since in the summer months the public areas of beach are very crowded. This unit is clean, comfortable and secure. Will definetly return!

The condo was great. We have been staying in Crystal Villas for over 10 years. A couple of small issues: Condo needs the bathtub drain stopper replaced, it leaks. Just as a note, probably time to update the master mattress, with the costs consistently going up all of the units in the villas that we have stayed are in need of a mattress upgrade. Thanks again and see you guys next year.

Everything was fantastic except for the little black bugs in the kitchen and living room area. They were so prevalent that we feared taking them home with us. I reported it on the recording when I called to check out. Other than that the condo was great. I am going to "absolutely" recommend the rental to a friend as long as the bug problem is corrected.

We had previously stayed at this condo and knew we wanted to stay here again. The accomodations are very clean and comfortable. Hopefully, we can stay here in the future.

Went on our annual anniversary trip and enjoyed the clean and comfort of the condo as well as the view from the balcony and the easy access to the beach.

We were extremely pleased with our condo at Crystal Villas. It was beautifully decorated, clean and had everything we needed to have a peaceful, relaxing weekend.The location was unbelieveable; steps to the beach, shopping and great restaurants minutes away!!! We will definitely rent again.

We enjoyed our Fall getaway to Destin. The condo was very nice, on the beach and close to The Common's (where the shopping is great). Condo well laid out and comfortable.

We stayed at this Villa in april 2010. It was pefect. Right on the beach with a great view. We saw dolphins swimming in the water during the morning hours. If you're going to Destin and need a place to stay the I suggest this Villa. If we return to Destin then and if this villa is available then we will most likely rent it. Thanks so much.

My family and I have been visiting Destin since 2000 (only missed 2002 and 2004) and this Crystal Beach neighborhood is our favorite spot. The beach is obviously beautiful; just as important to us, however, is the extra relaxation this quieter neighborhood provides. BUT, just two blocks away is easy access to all the restaurants, shopping, and entertainment you could ever need. Unit 9B at Crystal Villas was VERY clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Stepping out onto the balcony and enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean was a perfect way to spend the days. I definitely hope to return.

We stayed March 27th thru April 3rd in Crystal Villas 9B. This is the second time we've stayed in Crystal Villas and we love it. The location is great, the condo was in great shape and very clean, and the atmosphere was soothing.

This was our first time to stay at Crystal Villas and we loved it! Having 1 1/2 bath is so much better than 1 bath even just for two people. 9B was decorated very nice, very comfortable and had most everything we needed for the week. Thanks to Trudy with Southern Rentals for making our arrangements, she was a pleasure to work with. We plan to stay here again.

This was a nice condo on the western end of Old 98, so it was quiet on that end. We loved that we got beach service!! The unit itself was big enough for 5 or 6, and the kitchen was well-stocked. It was a little noisy with little kids above us, but you can't control bad parents! The only real drawback is the covered pool. The management company should remove the roof. We also had some clothes stolen by the cleaning crew, but overall, it was a good weekend, and we would return there. It is convenient to everything.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Crystal Villas # 9B. The condo location was perfect - being on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the beach and convenient to several restaurants and shops. The condo has a king bed, a set of bunk beds built into the wall of the entrance hallway (small kids could sleep there, but not ideal for teens or adults), and a pull out sofa bed. There are two half baths which share ONE tub with a shower. There is a stacked washer /dryer unit. I was thankful we were in the B building (quiet) since the pool (kids playing & yelling) was located in the A building. I was also thankful for the 2 chairs and umbrella which were included in the rental, but be sure to tip the beach guy that sets them up each day! If you are looking for a nice, romantic restaurant make reservations at the Beach Walk Cafe' which is located just west of the condo inside Henderson Park Inn. The restaurant overlooks the beach and the food is great, but $$$$. Our only complaint about the condo - it did not have internet service. We purchased the wireless service from miraclestripwireless.com but could not get connected unless we sat on the balcony, where it was too bright to see the screen! So... don't take your laptops to check your emails!

We were impressed with the accomodations as the kitchen was well furnished & having a washer & dryer allowed for me to come home with clean clothes & not spend a whole day doing laundry! The location of being right on the beach was great! I would have liked to have known that we were allowed to use the beach chairs/umbrella before we purchased our own. Being our 1st time in Deastin we didn't find out about other activities until our stay was almost over, next time we'll know where to look. We liked that anything we needed was close & easy to find. Restaurants were great. The man doing maintenance was very nice & helpful during our stay. Overall, our trip was outstanding & my husband & I look forward to a trip just the 2 of us next time, 2nd honeymoon!

We had a wonderful week in Destin. The condo is in a perfect location right on the beach the view is wonderful. The Condo was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, however we did find sand on one of the bar stools, housekeeping could be a bit better. The screens to the balcony were hard to open and the screen was pulled away from the metal. There is no key to the pool and beach access but a code which was a bit confusing the first day as the instructions e-mailed to us said there was a key hanging on frig. This is a great place to stay and we plan to return next year hopefully 9B will be available.

It seems to be hard to find an affordable small beachfront rental for a family of three (2 plus a little one). That is exactly what this one provided. The beach was practically caribbean, was monitored daily and kept private so the tenants of the complex could enjoy what they are paying for. This was not an upscale condo, but a humble but very clean and homey place. The balcony was small but just perfect for our needs. It was close to restaurants and stores, but out of the way enough to feel like it was in a neighborhood, rather than a strip mall. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a similar solution, and we hope to return to the same unit again very soon!
