Our Destin vacation was awesome. This condo was very roomy. The issues I had with the condo itself would probably not keep me from coming back. We are big cookers. There was no pantry and nearly every cabinet was full of dishes. There were not enough towels. We had to keep washing them. Destin has lots of great restaurants. If the kitchen thing doesn't bother you, this is a great place to stay. Very close to everything

The pictures of this condo do not do it justice. The unit surpassed our expectations. The vacation was so perfect because of the 4 bedrooms/4 bathrooms and lots of extra living space for our family of four plus three grandparents. Everyone had their own room and we were not living on top of each other the entire week! The beach was perfect when we visited, with only one day of seaweed. We watched dolphins and sting ray from our balcony. The unit was extremely clean and had top of the line appliances and furnishings. The grounds are also very well kept and we loved the added security of a gate, although the area is extremely nice and family-friendly. I especially enjoyed being on Old Hwy 98, away from the chaos of the downtown-Destin area. We were still within short driving distance to all area attractions/stores/restaurants. The beach service was great and our chairs were located in the same space every day of our stay. The pool is at the back of the building, which is nice because it provides much-needed shade during peak sun hours. It was a great place to take my younger children for a break from the beach. Overall, we loved Crystal Dunes, unit 604 and hope that we will be able to enjoy it in the future. We would love to make this our annual family vacation spot, it was perfect!!!

We were so impressed with the unit that we rented it again for an early June trip. Only problem with our spring break trip was the cold weather and too many college kids. Loved the unit, the view, and the rest of the facility is just great too. We have stayed at Crystal Dunes several times and keep going back, because the units are wonderful and Southern Resorts provides excellent service. We will continue to travel to Destin and stay at Crystal Dunes operated by Southern resorts as long as this exists.
