Crescent 407 ~ Destin Vacation Rental Miramar Beach

The condo was perfect for our size family. View from our condo was beautiful. A few suggestions after staying a week: Suggestion 1. Work on improving communication with the chair rental company. They were unwilling to accommodate us by holding our chairs each day even though we were guaranteed 2 chairs during our stay. Every morning, I had to place a towel on our chairs to reserve the chair. Yet the chair company actually reserved the chairs for the other guests who rented by the week. Suggestion 2: Provide more paper products, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Other than that, we would gladly return.

Great experience. Check was easy & the condo was awesome! The pool was great & the beach was beautiful. Wiould definitely recommend staying here!

Check in was a little confusing because lobby on site is managed by a different company (resortquest) and staff was not helpful for southern vacation customers. #407 was very comfortable and clean. Ice maker is awesome! View was great. Flat screen Tv's are very nice. Kitchen fully stocked and clean. Grocery (Winn Dixie), liquor store, Whataburger, souvenier shop very close. Short drive to the Baytowne Wharf and water park which the kids loved! Pool was a nice size and clean. The carpet in the two bedrooms is fairly worn and dryer takes at least two cycles to dry. Everything else was perfect and relaxing.

From beginning to end this was a terrific experience. Check in was seamless. Staff's call about check in and check out were helpful and the weather would have made the Chamber of Commerce proud.

Excelent property and unit. Well decorated, kitchen well stocked, beautiful sunset viewing.

The unit was beautiful!!! The beach was covered with slugs and the water was full of seaweed! The smell was horrible!!! The seaweed was sooo thick we could only get in the water one day. We have been here several times before and this time it was truely a disappointment!!:(

The room was cleand and well stocked. Nice Tv's. Great location near the beach but the west sun was directly in your face on the balcony. Loved the time of year with no crowds unlike the summer months.

This condo was probably the cleanest we have ever rented. Everything was very comfortable. The only problem we experienced was with the dryer. The hose kept coming off and it squeaked loudly. Maintenance worked on the hose, but it did not stay. He said he had to order a part to stop the squeaking.

The condo was tastefully decorated, but carpet in bedrooms badly needed to be replaced--did not want to go barefoot. The dryer was not working which had evidently been reported the week before but no one had bothered to repair it before our arrival, and so we had to wait 2 1/2 days for it to get fixed. So. Resorts only supplies one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for the week, no kleenex, but no one informed us of this. This is something that they could supply with enough for the week stored under the bathroom counters. Also not enough washcloths--1/ each person for the whole week--again something they should have multiples available under the bathroom counters. Overall it was a good experience, but we've traveled alot and for the price we expect more.

I travel to Destin at least once a year and absolutely love the Crescent. It's my favorite place to stay due to the pool area and it's proximity to the outlet mall. I would have given this particular unit 5 stars across the board if it weren't for the second bedroom. The living area was great and the master bedroom was awesome. I have 3 complaints about the 2nd bedroom. First, the matress was literally the hardest matress I've ever slept on. Second, the sink in the bathroom had no room to store your bathroom stuff. And third, the 2nd bedroom was much, much warmer than the rest of the condo...so to get the 2nd bedroom to reasonable temp, the rest of the condo was freezing. So, if you're staying in the master bedroom, this place is well worth the money. But I wouldn't stay here again if I had to stay in the 2nd bedroom.

This was a fantastic rental. The unit was clean and well stocked. The view was fantastic and the amenities at the cresent were fabulous. The only down side was that the majority of the units in the condo are owned by another resort company and the front desk was staffed by the other rental company. So some amenities at the facility did not apply to southern resort customers. However, these were minimal and the overall stay was fantastic! Also, we had a maintenance issue and the southern resort staff fixed it right away and were easy to correspond with by phone.

We are frequent visitors to Destin and have always wanted to stay at the Crescent. Our first time staying there (in unit #407) now has us hooked. We will definitely choose to stay there again! The complex is beautiful & clean with a tropical resort-style feel to it. The pools are amazing. Because there are only 4 floors and not many units, it never felt crowded at the pool or the beach. The balconies are quite large and have fantastic views. Keyless entry to the units means you never have to worry about keeping up with your keys as you go out for the day. Our particular unit was better than we had expected. The color scheme, furniture and decorating were all very nice. The 3 flat screen t.v.'s were a huge hit with my family. The only negatives were the slightly uncomfortable mattress in the master bedroom and the balcony tiles that needed a good cleaning. Those issues were far outweighed by all the positives. I fully expect that we will choose Crescent again for our next vacation and we may select this exact unit again.

Crescent #407 was wonderful. We enjoyed it so much we have decided to vacation there next year for a week. This was our first trip to Fl. Words can not describe the comfort, beauty and peace we experienced there.

we had a great time at the Crescent. the room was beautifully decorated and the property was lush. we were on the 4th floor so our view was unobstructed. i felt as if i was in some remote tropical setting. the pool was huge and i never felt crowded at all. we have stayed on the other end of destin by holiday isle and the beaches at the crescent were so much nicer. there was plenty of room to spread out. the place was close to restaurants and shopping.

great location. Great condo. beautiful beach and pool. no complaints. Would highly recommend.

The property was perfect. Our family had a wonderful time at the pool and beach. Access to beach chairs each day was a nice perk so we did not have to cart them back and forth as we have in the past. The unit was up-dated and very clean. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. We liked being east of the busy part of Destin. We enjoyed having the the outlet mall and the grocery store near by. Our weather was chilly a few days, but the pool is heated and somewhat protected from the wind. This kept my kids happy. We had a wonderful visit to Destin and would stay in Unit 407 at the Crescent again.

We were very pleased with the condo, well maintained and appointed. Did not have any needs arise while we stayed.
