We loved this home. It was beautiful and spacious and had everything you could possibly need. The shared pool was really nice. The wrap around balconies were beautiful with breathtaking scenes. My only complaint is that the unit has a single air conditioner and it didn't quite keep the upper levels cool until 2 days into our stay. Our bedrooms on the second floor stayed luke warm (uncomfortable for sleeping) for the majority of the evenings. The downstairs stay very cold because we were trying to get the ac to move upstairs. Otherwise, the house was wonderful and we loved it!

The home was very nice, but the location was exceptional. The volleyball pit and tennis courts were great. The walk to the beach was very short and safe. The only negative comments are that the amenities that are 'shared' with the Enclave are very limited. The 'clubhouse' remained locked at all times with the exception of 'Senior Citizens' preparing for their parties. No admittance to the clubhouse. We were told that there was a hot tub, we have yet to find it.. The home had a Martini Pool that was not heated and needed updating. The maintenance on the home was lacking (i.e. light fixtures needed bulbs, kitchen light had to have maintenance workers attention during our stay, loft room had an order from the mini fridge and sink, ceiling fans too high to adjust speed, tiny broom for sweeping up tracked in sand). The gas grill having a hookup to a main line rather than a 'tank' was a huge plus. This home's huge plus factors are location and size. It is a lovely home with a beautiful view from each balcony. It was also a good rental price with the exception of all the fees that Florida mandates the rentals to add.

We just returned from Spring Break at "Making Memories" in Destin. The house was perfect. It's my undertanding that it was the first week it was available for rental, and we were thrilled to be able to call it home for almost a week! There were a few issues like the "stopper" in the master tub didn't have a "pullie", and it needed to be a little cleaner near the jet, but overall the house was great. We did not have great weather, and we were so fortunate to have so much room for two teenagers and parents to spread out on cold and rainy days! The proximity to the beach is perfect! We have been coming to Destin for years and have stayed in several hotels and condos and have wanted to try a house rental - we will never go back to hotels again!!!
