Calypso Resort & Towers 2305W ~ Condo rental in Panama City Beach

We could not have ask for anything more than our stay at the Calypso. The condo and all its fabulous views, the beaches, the people,the great convenience of all the shopping and entertainment. Southern Resorts made our check in and check out the easiest ever! Thank you Southern Resorts! We will be back!

We loved staying at Calypso. We had no complaints whatsoever. The location is fabulous. You never have to get in your vehicle. You can walk to so many shops and resturants. We are already planning our next trip and we hope to bring more people with us! Great place to stay!

The room in itself was nice. It was clean, great view etc... No issues there. The people who work at the front desk at the Calypso were not friendly or eager to help me when i asked them questions. I also didnt realize I would need to schedule extra time in so I could wait for an elevator. There were times I waited at least 15 minutes for one. And lastly, while its not the resorts fault, we drove 16 hours to PCB for the amazing water and it was covered in algae. We will not be making the hike to Panama City Beach again.

Great stay on the top floor. Walk to Peir Park just next door.

We have stayed at the Calypso many times but chose to book our vacation with Southern Vacation Rentals this time. I am so glad we did!! The people are so professional and friendly, and I feel we got a great deal. This unit is on the top floor of the West Tower and the views were great, the furnishings too. I would like to see better bedding(comforter not the original that goes with the set). I had to call the emergency # at check in due to having the incorrect Parking gate code, but that was taken care of immediately over the phone. Not sure who's fault? But our stay was overall wonderful and we will book again!!

We were very pleased with the room. It was very neat and clean. A perfect veiw of the gulf. please send us any specials you have on this location in the future. We are always looking for good deals. Thanks again!!!

We were very pleased with the condo. It was very comfortable and has a magnificent view. Southern Resort rental gave excellent customer service. They phoned within 1/2 hour of our arrival to check for any concerns. Only negative was we were given an incorrect parking gate number at time of booking. Overall we were extremely satsfied and will definitey use Southern Resorts Vacation rental again.

Great, convenient location. Walking distance to Pier Park shops, stores, restaurants and theater. Centrally located for other things such as grocery store. Unit was a little spartan with normal consumption items like paper towels. Check-in was a little sketchy with no information about who and where we were to park and check-in. Connecting to internet was a hassle and continued to have to fight through the Southern Resorts page -- which has no apparent button to let you click through. But customer service people did their best to help, to little avail. We finally found a work-around. Overall an ideal place for a couple and we enjoyed it as much or more than any other vacation we have had. Especially enjoyed the exercise room.

The only suggestion I have is for a warm blanket/comforter for the bed. Luckily I had a blanket in my car that I brought in. Hangers are also needed in the closet. The condo was well equiped with all kitchen utensils needed.

My husband and I visited this resort in July. Great experience. That was our first visit at this resort. Had such a great time, we decided to come back for our 10th wedding anniversary. Didn't think it was possible, but we enjoyed this time even more. The weather was perfect and the water was gorgeous! We would recommend staying at this resort to everyone!

We had a great stay. It was off season but extremely affordable. The view and access to the ocean was breathtaking. Bed Linen could be improved and a jacuzzi would have been grand but overall we very satisfied with the entire expereince.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The view was breathtaking! We even saw several dolphins while relaxing on the deck! The condo was very clean and exactly like the pictures described. The location was just next door to Pier Park, so entertainment was close at hand. I highly recommend staying here!

Great accomondation and the resort was clean and well maintained. The only recommendation I would make would be to stager the check out times. Being on the 23rd floor made it very time consuming trying to get an elevator. When one would come to the top floor it would already be full. We waited 23 minutes out in the stuffy hallway with luggage waiting on an elevator and we were too high up to take the stairs with luggage.

In all the years we have have traveled and rented vacation homes,we have never recieved the quality of service we recieved from Southern Resorts in booking this condo. I would recommend Calypso Towers to my best friends. 2305W was very nice and well appointed. I LOVED being on the top floor (no noise overhead). Best view of the Gulf we have ever had! Beats Ft. Meyers, Clearwater, Santa Rosa, Destin, hands down. Has to be the best location on the beach due to Pier Park next door. The view from the bedroom was Awsome. My Wife loved the large bathroom with walk-in shower and closet. I spent a lot of time in the kitchen fixing fresh seafood from Buddy;s Seafood Market so that was my favorite spot. We loved our visit! We would love to go back! The location is great. The condo is very comfortable and nice. I wish I could go back tomorrow--early!

This was our second stay at the Calypso Resort, first through Southern Resorts. The room was comfortable and incredibly clean. Great beach and pools, friendly staff and right across the street from shopping and dining. Going through Southern Resorts was a money saver. However, we weren't informed that use of the properties beach chairs and umbrellas weren't included with the room (that adds up quickly at $35 a day to rent). We picked up a couple lounging chairs and an umbrella, to use for the week, at a local store for about $45. Overall, can't wait to go back.

Well, we decided to stay at Calypso Towers this year! Wow! we were so pleased at the accomadations. The condo was so clean and furnished so nicely....it was like being at home at the beach! We really enjoyed the fact that Pier Park was just across the street....we didn't have to get back in the car that much with so much to do there and shop as well as the restaurants. We also liked the fact that Calyps had security patrol around all the time so we always felt safe. I would highly reccomend staying here to anyone and look forward to staying here again!!

Our room was very nice. The pool area was exceptionally nice. The only issue we had was "palmetto" bugs everywhere in the condo. Other than that, and being on the 23rd floor and having to wait for the elevators forever, it was great!

The Calypso was a very nice and clean condo. We really had a great time. In terms of location, you can't beat it. It is right across the street from Pier Park and many other attractions. I expecially appreciated the ease of "checking in". We just went right to the door, keyed in the code and the rest is history. I would like to see a few more social areas at the Calypso. Maybe a lounge or club or a large TV room. Just some place where all the guests get get together. I also DID NOT like the pool closing at 10PM. That is way too early.

The condo itself was very nice and came exactly as described in the description and online photos. We were even furnished with 'starter' supplies of household items, which lasted through our stay. Upon arrival, we had some issues with 'critters', but Southern Resorts was very quick to respond and send someone over within an hour of me calling them. The unit was clean with nice furnishings and the master bedroom on the gulf was amazing! The location of Calypso Resort could not be beat, as it stands right across the street from Pier Park, which is so covenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Some friends and I are all teachers that wanted one last trip to the beach before school started back. We were on a tight budget since we had just went to the beach the month before. This was a very inexpensive trip, and we had a blast. We stayed at Calypso (different condos) both times and loved it. We loved that we could walk to Pier Park. We will definately be back!

The condo was really nice and furnished with everything I needed. I had lots of fun and I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the southern resorts was very nice and helpful. thanks so much for allowing us to stay and have a trouble free vacation.
