This unit was wonderful. Being on the ground floor was a plus as we didn't have to deal with the elevators. I had 2 travelers with me that don't deal with elevators very well so ground floor is great for our need. Our view was also great even being on the ground floor.

Our condo was very nice and conveniently located. All the necessary items for a complete stay were there and everything seemed to work. Despite being close to the pool and the bar the noise was no problem at all. The patio is spacious and comfortable with a terrific view. A few small issues that kept it from being a 5 star. The mattress in the master bedroom was way too firm. Pk, it was more like a shelf than a mattress. Also we found a few items under the beds that were missed when the unit was cleaned before. Don't let these things deter you. The mattress was tolerable (just don't buy one like it for home) and the place was very clean despite a couple of ink pens and a piece of paper under the beds. You can't beat the location. The place is spacious and well appointed. I would definitely stay there again. Joe Bob says check it out.

We stayed here during spring break..far enough down the beach from all the action but in a great location to lots of shopping and things to do on the rainy days. We loved the condo and the beach...clean and beautiful! I would definitely come back here and stay. The security around the building was great.

My husband and I have stayed at the Calypso with our two children for previous Ironman Florida races, but this year we chose this first floor unit for our stay, and it was the perfect place for us. The rooms are bright and clean, and the location is just right...not jammed with race traffic but certainly close to the host hotel, and the bike route goes right by the condo. We would have liked a few more basic items such as spare toilet paper and a hair dryer, but overall, we would definitely recommend this for a race (or any other) family.

We took the kids down for the labor day weekend. Was the first time the kids have ever been to the beach. They had a wonderful time. Condo was very nice and a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and people was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again in the future.

I was impressed with how open and spacious the condo was. Very comfortable accomodations. Very clean. The Southern Resorts employees were very friendly and made sure the unit was clean and up to standard as we were checking in. It was nice that the complex has employees patroling the premises all hours of the day. And I'm not sure what the Calypso staff cleaned with, but it always smelled SO GOOD walking through the breezeway. Very tropical. It was very quiet, did not have the 'Spring Break' atmoshpere that I was expecting. Great location next to Pier Park also. Easy to walk to. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone, and I would definitely like to return. *I think the garbage disposal in the kitchen sink may need some attention however. I noticed it wasn't draining well one day so I turned on the disposal and it didn't sound healthy. Thank you! We had a wonderful vacation!

AWWWWWWSOME week, the room was this best, the pool, the tiki bar, everything was GREAT!!!! Highly recommend.

the location was great. We walked to Peir Park one evening. Easy to get out to the back road to get around panama city. The room was nice and spacious. we did have a problem with the cleaning. one of the beds was full of sand when we turned the sheets back and some of the silverware was still dirty. Over all a nice stay and will probably return.
