Cabana Club #107 ~ Destin Vacation Accommodation

Very nice unit. Fantastic view and great access to beach. Outside grounds were immaculate well landscaped. Very roomy codo bright fun colors inside. Just some glitches. We arrived on Sunday and were told in our email to go to office to get access info, it was supposed to b in lockbox. Nothing there. Used phone acces next to box. Answer was prompt and gave us code to condo. When we arrived there were two bulbs burnt out in lights in master bedroom. This normally wouldn't be an issue but condo has limited window light. Lock on patio door was jammed which wouldn't be and issue but this unit is on first floor. The screen for the patio door was sitting on the balcony. The sliding window blinds for the patio door was missing six slats which madeit easy to see in at night. Had to cover with a sheet all week. We drove down to the office Monday and reported all these problems. We were told they would put in a work order. We were there seven days and no one ever showed up to fix any of them. Reception on flat screen in front room on some channels was horrible . All in all would probably return as it is in a great location and was basically nice condo. Just wish they had resolved the problems while we were there

We really enjoyed our week at this condo. Beautiful view from the balcony and couldn't get any closer to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a great walk in shower and soaking tub. Saw dolphins every morning from the balcony. Aside from the baths and kitchen, the condo was not well cleaned and the outside lights were evidently burnt out and not replaced. Lots of sand everywhere. But we would return again as these issues are easily remedied.

This property was fantastic, it was more than we expected. The view from the condo was unbelievable, with the white sand and the Gulf just feet from the balcony. Decor made you feel welcome and right at home. We would recommend this property to anyone. You would really enjoy your stay.

The weather in mid October was absolutely beautiful! I enjoyed working with Southern Vacations to book the room it was very quick and easy! I only wish check in could be earlier than 4 so we could enjoy more time on the beach. Great stay I will be back.

Beautiful view, great beach access, beautiful condo. Floors not as clean as expected for the cleaning fee charged. Very well stocked kitchen, great king sized bed, comfortable sofas, loved the two T.V.S. One of the best condos we have stayed in in the panhandle.

I really had a good time at the condo, I was a little dissapointed in the cleanliness of the place, and those let out sofa bed wasn't that comfrotable but overall it was nice, I like the fact that the beach was at the back door, and speaking of the back door, it never lock, thank God it was in a nice neighborhood, but as far will I be back yes I will but to get another bigger condo, so everyone can be comfortable.

This unit was well furnished and in a very good location. Beach access was the easiest we've ever had. Our complaint is that the sleeper sofas are Unsleepable! They have very harsh springs in the mattresses and could not be used. This unit should not be advertised as sleeping 6. The sofas can be slept on but not as beds. They need to be replaced!!! As a result, we would not recommend this unit to anyone who plans to use anything more than the bed in the bedroom.

Destin is absolutely our favorite vacation spot! This was our first experience with Southern Vacation Rentals, though we had stayed at Cabana Club previously through another management company. Everything went very smoothly. The condo is decorated beautifully, with such a sense of fun. The Jack and Jill style bathroom setup was spacious and worked well (a little disappointed the huge tub was not jetted). Loved the tile floors. Couches were very comfortable to sit on, but unfortunately made terrible beds when folded out. In their defense, I'm not sure there is a sofa sleeper on the market that is worth having! Two kids ended up sleeping on the couch itself and the other two slept on the floor, using the back couch cushions to sleep on. Not ideal. I would have appreciated some folding chairs/stools for everyone to be able to sit together for our meals (they could possibly be tucked into the water heater closet right by the table). There are only four dining chairs so the other two family members had to sit on the couch (which I would never allow at home). A couple of times we drug the deck chairs in and they sat at the coffee table. I was told I could bring my own chairs, but there was no room with six people, luggage, food, and beach toys on a 15 hour drive. I would like to suggest some shelving over the toilets to put everyone's toiletries on (there's only so much space around the sink). The kitchen appliances worked great, loved the granite and deep sink. Could have used another pitcher for tea/lemonade, etc. Overall, this is a great rental and we would definitely consider coming back. The uncomfy sofa beds and shortage of dining chairs are the only reasons I didn't rate it five stars.

Place was perfect for what we wanted. Very close to the beach and not a high density area. Condo was clean and well stocked. No pool, but no kids on this trip so that wasn't a big deal to us.

The condo was large, comfortable, convenient, and tastefully decorated. The private beach was perfect. The location was excellent. And, having laundry facilities made everything easy. We loved it and would return!

We paid for early check in to get in the condo by 1pm. We were told we needed to call to get in the condo after we had paid the early check in. That made me a little nervous, because we wanted to go to the grocery store and have everything ready. We didnt want to wait with ice and cold items in the car if it wasnt ready. As of 12noon it still had not been cleaned! Thankfully they came through and it was ready right at the 1pm time, exactly as promised. We entered the condo and it was very clean and in order. The view was fantastic and the decor was nice. On our first day, we were both at the beach and I went back up the condo to get a beverage and there was a door knock. The maintenance people needed to fix a leak. This took me by suprise because I was a little apprehensive about letting in a stranger. I let him in and he worked very quickly and apologized for the intrusion. We enjoyed the King Size bed and spent most of our time on the balcony. We utilized the kitchen almost every night for all meals. I would have liked to have seen a knife set to use for cooking and a nice cutting board. Overall it was an awesome place to stay and we very much enjoyed our time there. I would definitely recommend to a friend! Thank you!

My husband and I stayed here when we went on our honeymoon last year and we were so impressed we came back for our one year anniversary. We love how roomy this condo is and all of the decor. The best part though is you can open your balcony and hear the waves!! The beach is right there! We plan to keep going back every year. This isn't a five star all inclusive place, but if you just want a nice place on the beach, this is for you!

We really did enjoy the condo for the week. It was a great experience and we will recommend the condo. However, I was extremely disapointed in the Southern Resorts Managment. On Friday, we came back to find a Southern Resorts associate standing outside our condo with the door open waiting on an insurance adjuster. We were not warned when we booked the condo that we would have someone in our rental. She claimed she called us, but I never recieved a call. That point is moote, we should have been notified that someone would be in our unit beforehand. Also, the Southern Resorts associate, sent a Hvac technician to work on our unit while we were trying to leave for dinner the same day. I am not comfortable leaving people I'm not familiar around my personal items and I did not appreciate it. Other than those two issues, we really did enjoy our stay. Thank you.

This was the most relaxing and beautiful beach vacation we have had as a family. The condo we stayed in was wonderful and right on the beach so no need to drive anywhere. We were able to spend time having fun walking, swimming and playing at the beach. With having all the amenities of home we were able to enjoy meals together without the stress of finding the right restaurant. We will definately come back and bring family and friends. Thank you for making the trip so memorable!

Everything was wonderful. The view was exceptional. The unit was very clean but not too fussy.

Wonderful, relaxing holiday. The condo was clean and comfortable. We were able to check in a day early and we appreciated that. We were not given the correct code to the gate leading to the beach but another guest told us. We had a great time, the only problem was it wasn't long enough.

#107, right on the beach, was brightly, beautifully decorated. We could not believe the soaking tub in this one bedroom spacious condo. Would definitely rent again and have already recommended it to friends and family!!!

Cabana Club #107 was our honeymoon destination. Not a great time of year I guess to be at the beach, but we loved it. No crowds, no lines, no traffic. Despite the cold temps and the overcast skies, we had a great time. The condo was very clean and just as described online. And the location was awesome! Just steps from the beach. After a hectic work schedule this year, we needed the break and this was just the thing. If we visit Destin again, this is where we'll be.

This condo is just beautiful. Spacious and very well done. We really enjoyed the Jack and Jill style bath, gave us girls plenty of room to get ready. The view is unmatched! Southern Resorts was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful, even when we three dumb blondes forgot our door code! Would stay again without a doubt.

We very much like the Cabana Club floor plan with 2 bathrooms sharing a common shower/tub area. We have stayed at several condos in the Cabana Club over the years and as usual had a great experience. Can't beat the views! It's our first choice.

This unit was perfect for us. We diddnt have to walk up or down stairs, it was simply back the car up to the door, unload, and off to the beach. The balcony was less than 40 yrds. to the beach wich was very nice to lay on the couch in the evenings and be able to see the beach and here the waves. Were are def. planning to attend this unit every year and make it a regular for us.

We have stayed in Cabana Club 5 years and this was our first time in Vrbo #107. It was the nicest, cleanest of the condos we have stayed and will definitely book again!!!

It was everything I expected. Clean and comfortable.

I was pleasantly surprised at the accomodations. I had heard great things about Cabana Club, but think it was an exceptional place to stay. Very convienent to stores, right on the beach, and very safe. I was surprised at having a washer/dryer in the condo. Beautiful views of the gulf since it is on the beach. The beach was fantastic! Very clean beach and the rental office communicated very well to prepare me for this vacation. I will definitely return to this same property and unit #107!

Cabana Club #107 in Crystal Beach was the absolute best place we have ever stayed. Perfect location to all things in Destin and Sand Destin. Close to food, fun and entertainment. Nestled on a quiet strip of beach with low traffic. The condo in it self was just perfect for our weekend getaway. With the beach front balcony and large garden tub it was hard to leave and go back to the real world. :) I would HIGHLY recommend this place to stay for any couple needing a nice and peaceful getaway. We definitely plan to stay here again, hopefully longer next time.
