Blue Mountain Villas 34 ~ Beaches of South Walton Vacation Rental

Blue Mountain Villas is in a great location and my family loved every minute of the vacation. The rental is in walking distance to an ice cream shop, bike rentals, and gift shops. It is also about two blocks from a great jogging/biking trail which we used daily. We watched the dolphins everyday morning from our balcony and enjoyed the short distance to the beach. The beach was large and not very crowded. The condo is a little out dated, but that is such a small thing when you consider the great location and family fun. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a magical week. The accomodation was perfect and had everything we needed. The best part was actually being on the beach... looking out onto the ocean, being so very close that it was heaven! Thank you we will recommend you and return ouselves.

My husband and I traveled with our two children (17 and 12) and we all had a wonderful time! The condo was clean, great location and had everything that we needed. Will definitely stay here again, hope to visit again in the summer of 2011.

I stayed here with my husband and 4 year old son. The condo is right on the beach with an unbeatable view. We watched dolphins play while drinking coffee on the balcony. The inside could use some updating, and the table was broken on the balcony so we couldn't eat outside. It has some imperfections but the view and location outweigh them all. We loved it.

Even though it is an older condo. It was very nice and relaxing. Great view of the ocean.

The location and view are unbeatable. But the place is tired and worn. A good paint job, carpet cleaning and bathroom(s) update is in order. With some work, it could be absolutely spectacular! The loft was one of our favorite parts. Very cozy, and still with a great view!

My husband, three-year old daughter and I stayed in this condo during the week following Christmas. The view is absolutely breathtaking...completely unobstructed view of the ocean. You are literally right on the water. This condo is a very good size...we easily could have invited another family to come with due to the extra living room upstairs! We really loved the Blue Mountain Beach area as it is less crowded than some of the other towns along 30a, and more affordable. The bike rental shop, "Big Daddy's" and the health food store, "For the Health of It" are a short walk down the street. We rented bikes from "Big Daddy's" and explored the Timpochee Trail, which was beautiful. "For the Health of It" has a well-stocked juice bar and lots of organic goodies! If you are a coffee lover, there is a Starbucks nearby in Grayton Beach. Groceries and spirits are a little high in this area, but there is a Publix about 7 minutes away where you can stock up on everything that you would need. We will definitely be coming back!

Very nice kitchen and living area. Balcony overlooking the gulf is a perfect place to chill at night with the moon shining off the water. Curtains in the bedrooms don't provide much in the way of light blocking, so be ready to wake up early. There are no clothes hangers in the closets, but enough room in the dressers for clothes.

We enjoyed our stay here very much...esp. the beautiful view on the 3rd level of this building and so close to the water! However, we were thankful that our healthy family of four (who got more healthy during our stay!)were able to deal with the series of several steps to access the condo inside (which looked like they haven't been vacumned in a long while!), as well as the steps to the beach. While the condo was clean & nicely decorated, we were glad that we paid a lesser price (due to a cancellation) than other similar 2 bdrms, beach front condos we researched...as it is soon-to-be in need of remodeling. Basically we felt, we got what we paid for...but would probably find someplace else IF other prices are close to equal AND remodeling is not done in the next couple years. However, we did love the layout...with the loft and 2nd living room area. Can see how this would be very advantagous with a larger group. We enjoyed the location immensely (which is the main reason we wanted this area). Wonderful quiet beach, easy access to the 30A bike trail, activities, & restaurants.

This condo was everything we expected it to be. Kitchen was surprisingly well equipped with everything we needed for our party of six adults who frequently dined in. The climb to the third floor proved trying for some in our group, but this unit's loft design made the climb worthwhile. We will rent this one again.

beautiful unit, very big and spacious, right on the beach, quiet property, amazing gulf views, kitchen if very nice, fully equipped. we loved our stay here, definitely recommend, excellent value for budget-conscious travelers
