Beach Villas at Destiny 17B ~ Villa in Destin Florida

Very clean, well equipped with all you need including washer & drier with laundry and dish soap. Kitchen also had everything you need. The only thing negative was the sleeper sofa. Don't count on it, you can't possibly sleep on that thing. it's broken in several ways, the floor is better.

Second year renting a Destiny Villa. Very nice, comfortable accomodations combined with a peaceful lake on one side and the gulf on the other.

We love this place. But as with all things, you need to update. Our bathroom had no electrcity. The couch was way too nubby to want tot sit on. But the area and the availability of the beach/lake /shopping close by is still our favorite.

Very convenient to the beach and the Miramar area. Easy to check in and out. Great view of the lake, etc. Swimming pool area lack maitenance on furniture, etc. We will stay again.

Service received from Southern Resorts was professional, courteous, and prompt. Destiny Villas was very clean and well appointed. The location was excellent: a quick walk to the beach, easy access to shopping and restaurants. We stayed in the first floor villa, and the noise from the second floor villa was a little annoying especially when they decided to pack up and leave at 7:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning. Also, the king-sized bed promised in one of the bedrooms was actually a queen size.

I am a returning customer since 2000 or so. Each year I stay at the same villa. Although I enjoyed my stay I did notice a few things. One of the things I like about the villas is the beautiful landscaping and fresh interior colors. I did notice our room colors were a little washed and could use some freshening. Also the furniture such as the sofa and chair as well as the bed linen seemed more worn than I remembered. This is not a huge complaint just a comment since I truly enjoy my stay every year. The room was well appointed and nothing was broken, the shower was fine as well. I don't believe I have stayed in this particular room in a while so I think It just needs to be spruced up as compared to the room we were in before (23B I think). Also I did have to call the office twice to ask for linen for the pull out couch because we could not find any. Great location for walking to the beach, however, The large homes across the street have sectioned off a large portion of the beach for private use only. This significantly cramps the size of the public beach. And from what I could tell, No one had even rented the homes so the beach space was simply wasted.

The unit was clean, comfortable and convenient. We will never stay at another complex. We love it at the Villas!

Great location, easy access to the beach, nice views, actaully had a call back from help desk to get my internet connection working. Love the small private condo Unit does nedd a visit from the pest control service. A few littel bugs about.

The best condo we have stayed at so far. With the beach just across the street and the lake in your backyard you couldn't ask for a nicer vacation. The weather was just perfect that time of year. Very well keep up grounds and pools. Just wonderful!!!!
