Beach Resort 402 ~ Condo Vacation Rental in Destin

Our condo was clean, well-equipped and the location was ideal. We spent many hours watching the waves come in on the beach across the road. The furniture in the living room was fine but could have been more comfortable.

it was a great time. the accomodations were perfect being so close to the beach and family members that live in Destin.

The only complaint I have is that there was no comforter or bedspread on the bed in the master bedroom and housekeeping never brought one even after I called and asked for one.

Trudy Graves as always was wonderful Here are some observations and realities Furniture in unit 402.. the chesterfield is simply awful..even though it was re upholstered in 2010 There is no comfortable chair to sit and watch TV.. we brought chairs from balcony to watch TV

We love Destin and Beach Resort #402...this is our 2nd time staying at Beach Resort and we love it! Great pool and very easy access to the beach! We will definitely be back to stay here again!!

This was our first time staying at Beach Resort and we loved it!! The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved our balcony and the view it had. I had read other reviews of how the beach was a little incovenience because of the distant walk..well we didn't mind it wasn't really a long walk. We will definitely stay at Beach Resort again!

Our stay at the Beach Resort was fabulous! The condo itself was beautiful, very spacious, and had everything one could possibly need right there in it. Our only complaint would be that we had to walk down the street to access the Beach. There is no direct access right across from the condo. Once we got used to walking down the street aways, it was not a big deal, but took some getting used to. The pool was great and love that the upper section was heated. Again, the condo itself was awesome! Very clean, well equipped and big.

The unit was very nice and spacious for a one bedroom and very nicely decorated. The only thing I would recommend is that the owner change the area rug in the sitting area to a better sisel rug without the cushion underneath with was separate from the rug/carpet piece and looked a little sloppy. The pool area is beautiful and maintained very nicely. I would definitely return.

Very clean, good location and nice condo. Very large for a one bedroom condo. Reasonably priced.

We're thankful for this chance to give you some feedback on our stay. We travel often and found the building design and pool layout to be very nice and the angle of the facility enable the pleasant breeze to flow thru the pool area daily. Room was very clean and well stocked with what we needed. We had some minor issues with coffee pot and one toilet but your staff was very quick to fix them...to our surprise! (Thanks Jason....sorry we didn't get a chance to 'tiddy up' our bedroom before your visit). 1. We did however have a significant problem with the comfort of the master bed (comfort being one of the things we look forward to in our vacations), I know its an expense but a soft/plush pillow top bed would make this unit the attraction we'd come back for. Otherwise, we would have to try another unit. 2. We thought the pool grills could have been a little more upscale: maybe two gas grills 3. The elevators have a srange odor of oil...either maybe improve ventilation or find the source. 4. Pool area was great...nice atmosphere and fun layout. Fun for adults and kids of ALL ages. 5. The location was great with several resturants withing walking distance or a short drive. Loved AJ's. 6. You office staff was very friendly and genuinely concerned to see to it that our minor concerns were fixed right away. Thanks! In summary, We will continue to book through Southern Resorts but will pass on recommending this particular room due to the bed....we'll make sure we ask more about the bed features next time. However, Great Vacation...THANKS!!!

Great condo! Newer building with great pools, excellent location away from the crowds and high rises. Wish we could have parked in the garage underneath but we didn't have a pass? Southern Resorts was great..although we didn't have a instruction book in our condo, thus we did not have a pool code or beach access code and had to call and get the info. But overall a very nice place - not crowded and beautiful view!

While I found #402 to be a little less clean than I would like (very dusty and the tile was not mopped well), I would still recommend it to friends and family. This is the third time that my family has stayed at a condo at the Beach Resort and we simply love the place. The pool is awesome and no matter how many people are there it simply never seems crowded. I would love for the beach entrance to be closer to the complex; especially if you are carrying alot of stuff. Thanks for a great vacation!

Even though the Beach Resort is across the road from the beach it still has many perks. My children loved the pool. It was a short walk to get to the beach. It also was patroled on a regular basis by poliemen for our safety. Our condo # 402 had everything that we could ask for! We will definately be staying again!
