Barefoot Cottages B37 | Port St Joe FL Rental Home

Celeste was always helpful and friendly. Home is very spacious and because of all the amenities my wife and I did not feel cramped and could utilize the accommodations to our personal preferences ie. Tv's and bathrooms. Like the pool and hot tub. My only slight complaint would be the noise from the pumps for the pool and hot tub. Love the foliage and protection from the Gulf winds. Great place and we will be back.

We stayed in Barefoot Cottages (B37). The pictures that the site showed on line do no justice for this lovely home. Check in was a breeze. I do wish that check in times were scheduled earlier than 4pm, but we understood that the cottage needed to be cleaned up for the next guest. We did arrive in Port St. Joe a little too early so I called the office and they allowed us to check in around 1pm. The community was very nice. Our cottage was located near parking (about two cottages down) and near the pool and hot tub (but not so close that you could hear all of the pool activity. About 3-4 cottages down). The cottage was quite large and decorated nicely. The only complaint that I have would be that we found a binder with a lot of helpful info the day before we left. I would have been nice if housekeeping had left the binder out where we could make use of the information...we found it under the kitchen sink. If you are going to Port St. Joe and have never been before, I have to recommend Joe Mama's Wood Fired Pizza!!! Very good food, quick service and prices are low. It is a must. As far as the beach goes, we preferred going to the state park on Cape San Blas. Very clean beaches, restrooms, outdoor shower and the beach was not crowded at all. My family loves Port St. Joe becuase it is not commercialized. It is off the beaten path. So if you are a family that needs touristy activities, this might not be the place for you. Over all I would recommend Barefoot Cottages/Southern Vacation Rentals to friends and family. When we go back to Port St. Joe, we will be staying at Barefoot!

Loved it. Ready to go back already. We enjoy the latest back quite atmosphere there. The rooms are well equipted with everything you need. All you have to do is enjoy and relax the day away. This is a place you can go with friends, family, it just get away by yourself. Top pick for an affordable beach getaway.
