Renting a vacation rental should be a wonderful experience offering a variety of amenities and quite a bit more space than in hotels. We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help visitors, but always encourage your call, e-mail or Live Chat with us.
What are Keyless Locks? Approximately 80% of our properties have Keyless Locks and it is noted on the property page on-line. This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, Southern Resorts has eased the check-in process.
Is there an age restriction? Yes. We do not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age.
Do you provide daily maid service? Southern Resorts provides a departure clean on all stays. We also provide an initial supply of towels and linens. Laundry facilities are provided either in the rental property or on the grounds. A mid-week clean can be provided for an additional fee.
What is provided with the accommodation? All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen or kitchenette. Each property is stocked with all cooking and serving pieces as well as an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, bath soap and dishwasher soap. While we do provide bath towels and bed linens, we do ask that you bring your own beach towel.
Is there a Minimum Stay? One week minimum stays will apply for certain properties during summer and holiday periods, with Friday or Saturday arrival and departure. During the off-season, we are typically more flexible with minimum nights, but it is dependent on the vacation rental.
Do you allow pets? Several of our Northwest Florida vacation rentals are Pet Friendly. Visit this Advanced Search Page to search for those that do allow pets.
When is payment due? We require a reservation deposit on all reservations with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival on most properties. On some larger homes we require full payment 90 days prior to arrival.
Do you give refunds if we need to cancel? Southern Resorts provides Travel Interruption Insurance Travel protection through CSA Travel Insurance. The insurance cost is 6.5% of your total reservation amount and is automatically added to your balance when you book your vacation. The plan is optional and can be declined by signing a waiver form that is included with your reservation confirmation. Please understand that no refunds for any reason will be given without the purchase of CSA Travel Insurance.
