About Southern Resorts
Southern Resorts is a family business, owned and operated by brothers who have lived on the Gulf Coast since childhood. Mike Shoults and Kevin Veach direct the rental aspect of the business while Kerry Veach and Brad Shoults manage the Real Estate Sales division. Their combined history and experience in this industry allows Southern Resorts to grow and still maintain their original objective of providing unbeatable service to both guests and owners alike.
With over ten years of rental management in the Destin, Fort Walton Beach and the Beaches of South Walton areas, Southern Resorts has garnered a reputation of integrity, exceptional service and dependability. Also key to our success is that we exclusively represent high quality and well maintained properties at the beach. Our assertive philosophy, dedication to detail and cutting edge processes elevate Southern Resorts to one of the most successful vacation rental management companies on the Emerald Coast.
Southern Resorts employs conscientious, service oriented local professionals who specialize in their given areas of rental management such as owner and guest relations, reservations, marketing, accounting, housekeeping and maintenance, while working as an effective team. We are proud of the skills, knowledge and dedication to excellent service of our staff.
While dedicated to our business, Southern Resorts also recognizes the need to give back to the community. Contributing to local elementary, middle and high schools, athletic teams and charitable organizations further supports our mission to be the most caring vacation rental management company in Northwest Florida. Because of this balance of business and community, both owners, Kevin and Mike were awarded the Walton County Small Business “Persons of the Year” in 2005.
Southern Resorts is proud to belong to a number of affiliations: Fort Walton Beach, Destin and Walton County Chambers of Commerce, Emerald Coast CVB, Beaches of South Walton TDC, VisitFlorida, VRMA (Vacation Rental Managers Association) and FR&L (Florida Restaurant & Lodging)
